"Beautiful place in a great location, with a huge red dune behind you. The sunsets are gorgeous. I was the only visitor when I was there, as it is still low-season - so I was expecting a reduced experience but They complimentary upgraded my room to their best tent, which was amazing! And then they complimentary took me dune bashing as well… The staff member in the dining area kept me company while I ate, and they provided so much food for me. Super relaxing place. "We were there only for one night, but we enjoyed everything- staff was very friendly, the tents are simple but comfortable, dinner and breakfast buffet was delicious. We hiked up the dunes for a beautiful sunset and enjoyed the night walking tour in the desert with Monil. as the hotel offers different type of activities you can choose from. We would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Spent the one night here. Thoroughly enjoyed and overall impression was good. Having canvas tents is more authentic but necessarily means a little less comfort than the "purpose built camps" like Oryx, though more than adequate. Food is brought up from Oryx (1km away) and was pretty good. Stargazing was amazing as was watching the colours at sunrise. But the "activities" on offer are expensive - "dune bashing" for £50 was really not up to much and you could walk to the place you are taken...
