"We noticed how clean the house was when we arrived. The open area behind the house was raked and free of debris. The house is well stocked with cooking pots/pans/utensils for cooking and eating. The outside BBQ was very clean, and even had a reserve propane bottle. The furniture was comfortable and easily accommodates six people even though we were only four. The beds were comfortable and linens were provided for showering and for using the hot tub. Parking was plentiful and the area is peaceful. The location was ideal for an event we attended at Tobin James Winery. We would definitely stay at Casa Merlot for any future visits to the Paso Robles area."

The common areas are especially great—lots of comfortable space to hang out together, making it perfect for group gatherings or family time.The kitchen was a real highlight, fully stocked with all the supplies, condiments, and spices we needed to cook and enjoy meals without worrying about missing essentials. It felt very thoughtful and made the stay so much easier.Overall, the home has a very warm and homey feel. It’s clear the hosts put care into making it welcoming and comfortable.
