"Never stayed in a place quite as serene, tranquil, isolated, and relaxing. Two teenagers in tow with us interacted with the horse and the cats and just unwound with my wife and me after hiking all around. Perfectly situated for Blackwater State Park and Seneca Rocks. Owners were easy to follow with instructions and expectations. Not over the top like some rental places. Also, the rental was direct through Expedia, so no hidden fees from some third party or even fourth party like we have seen...

"Great stay in Buckhannon, only a couple blocks, for a very short walk to Main Street. There was plenty of space for all of us inside and out, and the yard was nice. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house is really nice inside and the A/C worked great. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Dale, our host was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would definitely stay again."
