Billyrays never again extended stay review.

It was ok. On the downside of ok to say the least. We were there just to sleep. We were moving our daughter back home and this hotel popped up had good reviews and excellent price for 2 nights compared to others. Keys hardly ever worked on door or getting into the building. It smelled really bad in hallways I think this is due to trash chutes located by the elevators. I would not recommend to a friend unless you are like us and just there to sleep and leave. There is absolutely nothing close or within walking distance to do anything. I will NEVER stay at this chain or use hotels.com again.

The location is great. Stores, dining, hwy is close by. Lots of parking. The first room had lots of cockroaches, broken range and old carpet. second room was better (with only 2 brown friends in 7 days), although the plugs on the kitchen never worked, maintenance never showed up in all 7 days of our stay. The biggest thing that impacted our experience is a dog pee on the stair ways...as well as right outside the entry door.. it was so bad, one could hardly walk by .. despite reporting, wasn't cleaned.

This was a last resort place to stay, room was dirty. We entered the lobby to an unmanned front desk, or do we thought. The receptionist was setting off to the side basically hiding. Only got up to answer a phone call and proceed to act as if we were not standing there. I will not recommend this hotel chain to anyone. Worst experience ever.

The room was modest, yet clean. We had stained and dingy towels in our room. Bath tub was chipped and needed resurfacing. No tub stopper was available but was provided upon request. The general condition of the public spaces in this hotel are poorly maintained. Dirty elevator compartment. Discolored carpeting and paneling were seen in all public ares. Outside, the pillars holding one corner of the portico was broken through. No clock on the room. We requested a courtesy call for wake-up time. No call was made.

Absolutely DO NOT Recommend

The overall stay was awful! From the time I walked in the door, there was a nasty smell and the lobby was filthy. The entire hotel smelled of marijuana and various other odors. I had to wait on the front desk clerk to hang up from a personal call to check me in. Once I was checked in, I went to my room and promptly walked out due to the putrid smell. I was relocated to a second floor room where it took 3 trips to the front desk (and waiting on the clerk to end another personal call) to get a working key card to my room. Once in my room, the kitchen area was moderately decent, though the refrigerator was quite dented and rusty. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was less than stellar. It was dirty and there was no water pressure, at all. The transition strip from the bedroom to the bathroom was taped down, with multiple layers of packing tape. Based on this experience, I will likely never book with Extended Stay again!

Bad experience

My first room was dirty with medium-sized roach crawling up the wall. Moved to a second room and a couple of bugs and small roach was there again! Sheets had stains on it. Only good thing was bed was comfortable enough. But mine was pretty sunken down on one side. Had a deep dip on one side (left) on bottom half of bed but top half was level! Just was not a good experience. A young male front desk staff was dry and did not make small talk at all. Did not even apologize once I had to change rooms the first time around! Could tell he did not want to be there or did not care! Even got locked out of my room the next evening after booking two nights in a row. So had to go downstairs to get a new key. And of course no accountability or apology on their end again! Breakfast counter sucked as well with only two muffins left, hot cocoa, and coffee around 8:45am the first morning. However, breakfast lasted until 9:30am. So did not return to breakfast the second morning. Will never go back to an extended stay again in MD! Had 3 bad experiences at different locations already!

Clean and Quiet!

Extended Stay S is one of the best Extended Stay's I've visited. The staff is great. They're available and very professional. The grilling area was an extra bonus with the great weather.

I pulled up and knew I should have never booked. It was very old and outdated. The rooms were super outdated and I started to sniff and cough just being there for 20 minutes. Everything is just OLD. Didnt feel comfortable whatsoever. The staff member there was super helpful so that was the only plus. I left within 15 minutes of checking in and booked at a better hotel
