The hotel itself is very good locally, but the facilities on the island are limited. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms; it is only available at the reception area. The meals also depend on the supply of resources on the island.

We stayed for 4 nights in July 2026.
The room: was never cleaned, sheets and towels never changed.
Banked bad without safety rail - our 8 year old fell from the top bed.
No hot water in the evening when people return from the tours - we were offered a bucket (!)
The door bars are open and wind gets into the room from outside.
Pool: dirty and unusable
Tours: we checked a few weeks before and were told that tours are available during the weekend - this was not the case. We flew to Tanna for three tours but only did the volcano tour.
WiFi: there is no working WiFi in the room or the public areas (does not work).
Restaurant: extremely slow service especially at dinner: we waited two and a half hours and the previous evening one and a half hours to be served
