"Mountain Meadows Lodge is absolutely wonderful! The staff are so friendly and welcoming that it felt like being at home. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes—they were amazing. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it!"
"So relaxing we stayed an extra night
We planned to spend one night at the Snowed Inn and loved it so much that we stayed for two. We are already planning our return!
The hosts were wonderful, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Coming from California, this was exactly the quintessential Vermont, Hallmark-style experience we had hoped for. The beautiful setting, cozy atmosphere, and relaxing fire in the fireplace each evening made it easy to settle in and enjoy ourselves.
We visited near the end of fall foliage season, before the holiday and ski-season crowds, so everything felt peaceful and unhurried. We met some wonderful people and enjoyed excellent snacks and drinks at the bar. The entire stay had exactly the feel we were looking for.
The only thing we missed was the hot tub because we forgot our bathing suits. It never occurred to us to pack swimsuits for Vermont in October! We will remember them next time.
We cannot recommend the Snowed Inn highly enough. A truly memorable stay from beginning to end."
"Sparkling clean room most definitely set up well for skiers and snowboarders and mountain bikers. The coffee machine worked great as did the fridge and the hairdryer. Beds are super comfy. Location is great and price point is perfect.
I loved how well lit everything was at night. I felt safe even right on the main strip
Two suggestions - ice available somewhere and a chair with a back would be awesome"
"Stayed at Greenbrier for a quick overnight. Did not use any amenities, or eat breakfast. Room was comfortable, a little dusty on surfaces and behind the headboard (I have asthma). Bed was comfortable and property was quiet. Would stay again."
"Absolutely beautiful hotel and property, which is a destination just in and of itself. Very comfortable, great dining options, gorgeous spa, and very walkable, if you decide to wander; Woodstock is a town right out of a Hallmark movie, after all."
