"While the lobby and front desk staff make a great first impression, the guest rooms are in a significant state of disrepair. The outside backdoor window was broken and the secure door was bent, as if attempts to gain entry were made. My room featured a door that didn't align properly with the frame, raising additional safety concerns and the feel that there had also been attempts to gain entry. The interior maintenance was poor, with sliced wallpaper, mismatched patches, and furniture incorrectly assembled with exposed screws. Cleanliness was a major issue, as I found used cough drops on the floor and thick dust throughout the carpet. Even the TV was poorly mounted and crooked. One other caveat is the facility did smell of marijuana inside and outside, which is not appropriate for children. This facility needs urgent attention to meet basic hospitality standards. This is not a handicap accessible facility. The breakfast was good with a spacious seating area. "

"They are remodeling, so you wouldn't expect it to look excellent. The Pillows were awful, no matter how many you used. The Staff was great!"

"It was okay. The room was clean. The mattresses were not comfortable. The chlorine in the pool area is very strong, like very strong - all of our eyes hurt. Not trying to be super negative, just honest. Didn’t really live up to expectations. "

"Room was kind of gross, I walked in and the windows were open and they were very hard to close. There were several spiders right on the window sill that had gotten in from the open window. Once I took care of those and closed the windows I realized that despite booking a non smoking room, the room reeked of smoke. Going into the bathroom there not only did it smell like smoke but also urine. They did not properly restock either there was no soap in the bathroom. The surfaces looked like they hadn’t been wiped down either as there were “crumbs” and dust all over."

"The hotel was dirty. We all slept in our clothes on top of the covers. The pool was closed, we never saw that online. The breakfast ended an hour earlier than it said so we missed it."

"Staff was absolutely awesome!!! I made the reservation, then realized I would be extremely late. I called to let them know and they accomodated me so well checked me in prior to midnight then confirmed my ID when I arrived just before 3 A.M., in fact made me feel so welcome it was a breath of fresh air when compared to other hotels that have stated they can't even let me stay when I check in after midnight! Room was excellent...not sure if it was intentional but lights were on when I opened up my room which made it feel welcoming as well and the room was nicely updated, breakfast was pretty good included hot food all of which was great! Security guard was awesome!!! "
