"The property was beautiful. Had everything you would need for a visit. We did get lost finding the house but was able to find it shortly after realizing we drove right past it. Suggest putting a light on the sign that shows the property number. "

"This house is in excellent condition. My grandchildren loved playing in the loft. The screened in room was a wonderful refuge from the family chias. We all loved the beach and the canoe. I can’t say enough about our vacation here."

"It was lovely to see so many stars and listen to the stream. We also enjoyed the fire in the wood stove (although we had to stoke it every couple hours). The bed was very comfortable. The walk up in the snow was more strenuous than we expected. Next time we'll pack as if for a hiking trip. We'll also stay for more than one night so we can explore the hiking trails."

"My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely log cabin in Jackson, NH. We were impressed with how solid and well-built the cabin is. The decor is simple and unique. As others mentioned, the 2 downstairs beds have very firm mattresses. An extra blanket on each for warmth as the nights get colder would be nice. The location is convenient, yet private and quiet. The owners have made it easy to know what to expect and their " house rules " are reasonable. We would stay there again."

"We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch."

"We were a group of eight ladies all family . We had a great time. Several ladies enjoyed using the hot tub. The youngest enjoyed the tree house. Located in a quiet location where we could have some privacy was great too. We prepared most of our own meals and the kitchen was spacious enough for all of us to move around each other. The open concept allowed us all to visit together comfortably."

"Very cozy, clean and stylish home for our 3-day ski trip. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a great big table. Perfectly roomy for 2 families and we loved we could bring our pups. It’s a short walk to the Bear Back trail on Bear Peak and you’re right at the lift."

"The unit was spotless and check-in couldn't have been easier. More than enough room for 4 adults and two kids. Basement area was perfect space for keeping kids entertained. The property manager was responsive and helpful throughout. Would absolutely stay again."

"We had a wonderful weekend in the snow storm! The house was cozy and warm and set back in the woods along the River but only a short drive to the ski mountains. It was a great time with my adult children. It’s hard to find a place that doesn’t charge a lot of money to bring your family pets so I really appreciated this place. So be good to the owners and respect their wishes with no dogs upstairs. Easy enough to block it off. Nice walk along river with the dogs. Or your family to just hang out...

"From the minute we booked, George was incredibly friendly and helpful, sending us directions, restaurant reccomendations, and helpful videos to help ensure our stay is as good as possible! He called me as soon as we arrived to welcome us and give us an opportunity in case we had any questions. This cabin was wonderfully secluded and I don't think I've EVER seen so many stars at night. "My partner and I stayed for a snowy weekend away and it was absolutely perfect! The pictures do not do the view nor the coziness of the cabin justice, we could not have asked for a better place to stay to unwind! The place was very clean with plenty of water, kitchen supplies, and wood provided with detailed instructions for use. As we went during the winter months the road up to the cabin can be a bit dicey, but with 4-wheel drive it was definitely manageable. Brenda was a very responsive host...

We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!"
