Upon our arrival we discovered that there was some damage to the unit and it was poorly cleaned. There was a lot of dust in the kitchen, dining area, and living room on the walls, wall decorations, and curtains. There was hair and soap scum in the master bathroom shower and dust on the bathroom wall. The oven and toaster oven in the kitchen were both filthy. There is damage to the kitchen counter and kitchen floor. Also, the walls behind many of the doors have holes in them due to no door stops. The bed in the master bedroom didn’t have a mattress cover/pad. The pillows on the beds were small and some of the pillow cases were dirty. There is blood or some substance that looks like blood on one of the box springs in the small bedroom. The living room curtains don’t close properly. However, Vacasa did supply a mattress cover for the bed in the master bedroom. Also, they did send one person from housekeeping to clean some of the problem areas in the kitchen and living room. However, I still had to purchase a Swiffer duster to take care of the dust in the living room, dining area, and master bathroom.
This unit must be thoroughly cleaned and the damage should be repaired before it is rented to anyone else.
