Great Beach Stay!

We loved staying at this place in sea colony! The place was very accommodating for my husband and our three children! Everything was clean! Few grains of sand but to be expected at the beach! Plenty of towels which we always need at the beach! The shower curtain needed replaced and they dropped a new one off for us. The water heater wasn’t on but all I did was send a text and they messaged where the breaker was and it had been switched off so easy fix! Great place and we will definitely book again! Ps we are picky when it comes to staying places :)

Beachy vibe house

We loved our stay at this house. It was super clean and new like decor. Felt like walking into a house right on the beach with every amenity you need. The community, beaches, restaurants and boardwalk were the perfect oasis for a getaway. Will be going again!

Great vacation

Great vacation. Great neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. Lots to do. Floors were a bit dirty when we arrived but everything else was great.

Terrible Experience – Extremely Unsanitary Conditions

From the moment we arrived, the property was a disappointment. There was sand all over the floors, and most disturbingly, our bed sheets had clearly not been changed. They were full of sand and piles of hair strands — completely unacceptable and unsanitary. I expected better standards from a company like Vacasa, but this experience was beyond disappointing. I will never book with this management company again.

Cozy beach apt

We loved staying here. It’s cozy and the apt has everything you need for a week stay. The beds were comfortable, and plates, utensils, and cooking supplies plentiful. Sheets and towels were all clean. I agree with other reviews that the main bedroom window should have shades. We enjoyed biking around, swimming, taking the tram to the beach, and the local restaurants. The majority of folks are not masked in Bethany but it’s easy to stay away from everyone at Sea Colony or just mask it if you are concerned about Covid. We had a blast with Coastal Kayak doing the Burton’s Island tour, including a nine year old and two seniors. Also great to see all the wildlife on the west side - osprey, geese, turtles, etc.

Keep looking

There are much nicer units in Sea Colony, especially for the price. It’s clear the owners haven’t paid much attention to it - living room curtains missing slats, rusted shower features, no blinds on some bedroom windows, broken blinds on others. Three true plates for eating that aren’t plastic picnic ones. Blood stained sheets were a surprise the first night. The unit photographs well but we would definitely not stay here again.

Overall, good stay

The set up of this condo worked well for us. Location was easy enough to get to the beach, about a 15-20 min walk. Had a strange experience with housekeeping upon checking in which wasn’t the best way to start off the trip. Otherwise, happy with this unit.

A great weekend getaway

This place was a very nicely updated and decorated we really enjoyed our stay at the property. Very peaceful in the community and not far from Bethany Beach. We are looking forward to going back again.
