Located on the west side of Coastal Highway in Bethany Beach, Sea Colony West offers townhomes, condos, and villas, some with pond views. Sea Colony offers a trolley, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, and optional activities. A fee is charged for use of amenities for ages 4 and older. The beach and towns of Bethany Beach and South Bethany are just a short distance away. No Pets Please.

This single-level end unit offers hardwood floors, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living, dining, kitchen, outside shower, a deck, and a gas grill. Guests also have access to adult and children's beach chairs, and umbrellas can be rented at Sea Colony beach.

We enjoyed our stay…

It rained most of our stay…so we really enjoyed time inside! We played board games, did a puzzle, and watched T.V. The kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals. Our family really enjoyed the relaxing and quiet atmosphere. It was really hard leaving to go back home!

A wonderful place

The place was clean and well equipped. It was very comfortable and had a lot of drawer and closet space. It provided all towels, sheets, soap, and if we needed anything, it was immediately taken care of. The only downside is that the property in pretty far from the parking lot. We had aging parents with us and it was a hard walk for them.

Excellent Labor Day Weekend

My wife, son (14) and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend 2024. Vacasa check-in was easy. The unit was just as described. One note - the pathways from the parking lot to the unit can be VERY dark. I highly recommend checking in during daylight to make it easier moving your stuff into the unit. All of the amenities at Sea Colony are top notch. It was a great weekend!

Sea Colony fun

I've been going to Sea Colony since I was about 7 years old and now I take my kids. This property was pretty standard issue condo. Very private and quiet. It could use a few more small area rugs to catch sand and there were absolutely zero things like dishwasher or laundry detergent so pack your own. All utensils when we got there had been put away dirty. I'm guessing previous guests ran dishwasher without soap and put away? Other than that very happy with our stay.

We grew up going to sea colony. It is the most beautiful community. We biked everywhere from where we were. The home was very clean and very cozy. Would love to come back!

All you need!

We had the most magic time staying at this location! The house was spotless when arriving and we loved how it backed up to the trees for a bit of privacy. It was very easy to check-in and to check-out. Sea colony is such a special place for us since we grew up having a place here. It truly feels like you’re staying at a resort somewhere out of DE. It’s a gem. So many activities for everyone of all ages. Definitely will be back at this place!

Great place

It was very well organized, the place we stayed at very clean and everything was ready, we were able to check in early that was a plus. The facilities had tram cellars everywhere to take you to any part the the facility. They took you to the beach and the gym. The gym was great everything you need for a workout, pools heated and life guards friendly! I would highly recommend this place again!

Great location but the unit is dated and had some cleanliness issues

We loved Sea Colony and all the amenities. The unit felt dated and had a few issues regarding cleanliness and comfort. There were ants on the kitchen counter for the entirety of our trip. One of the chairs in the living room had a handful of noticeable stains and in general there were a few broken items in the unit (outdoor shower didn’t work, one of the chairs at the kitchen table was broken and the back gate exiting the deck wasn’t in good working order). With a little tlc this unit could be quite comfortable.

Great place- one drawback

We loved so much- the layout, location, access to so many things. Comfortable- homy. Our one disappointment was that the outdoor shower didnt work! No water. If that were fixed we wd come back highly pleased!

Disappointed

We were disappointed with this unit. It was dirty (crumbs and popcorn (not ours) under the kids beds, dead bugs in the corners of the living room, sand in the dressers, dirt in the kitchen utensils drawer, dirty shower curtain in the master bedroom), and had broken blinds in the living room and the smaller room. We also were given two tiny bars of soap for a condo that sleeps 5 or 6! Finally (and it's not the owners' fault) we were sent the wrong WiFi password and had to spend time fixing that issue. Otherwise, the location is great and it could be a great place if some things are fixed.

Perfect for family

The location is close to pools, tram stop for the beach as well as tennis courts, playgrounds and more. The place had plenty of space for my family of four. A few things needed repairs but overall it was a perfect beach home.
