"Great location but sub standard service and the rooms are small and loud. Stayed here for one night and got billed twice (not sure if Hotels issue or with them). As I was checking out early they’d offered a breakfast bag which I said yes to, but when I showed up the next morning the person in reception had no idea and couldn’t find any. Stayed in a Standard room which was small and every sound from the room next door could be heard through the walls. Not planning to stay here again"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Beša?
The best area to stay in Beša is right within the village centre itself, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the surrounding countryside.

Beša is a small, quiet village, so the "centre" isn't a bustling metropolis but rather the area around the main road (often referred to as Hlavná Ulica or Main Street). Here you'll find the local church, the municipal office, and typically the village's only shop or pub. Accommodation options, often guesthouses or private rentals, are usually dotted along this main thoroughfare or just off it.

For families, staying in Beša provides a relaxed base to explore the region. Many guesthouses offer gardens or outdoor spaces, which are great for children. The village's quiet streets mean it's easy to take walks, and the surrounding fields and forests are superb for gentle hikes. It's also a good spot for those interested in experiencing authentic Slovak village life, with local traditions often evident.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will also appreciate Beša. The village offers a slower pace of life, ideal for unwinding.
When is the best time to go to Beša?
The best time to visit Beša for comfortable weather and outdoor activities is generally from late spring to early autumn, specifically from May to September.

During these months, you'll experience warmer temperatures and less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the local vineyards, historical sites, and the surrounding countryside. July and August are typically the warmest months, great for enjoying the region's natural beauty.

For those interested in wine tasting and local festivals, September is particularly appealing as it often coincides with the grape harvest.
