"Upon first arriving, I was concerned that the Inn is located 10 miles from Berwick on a two lane highway. We then discovered that public transit runs just outside the door - taking us easily to Berwick and Holy Island. There are some nice country roads for walking. The old Inn building with restaurant and pub are charming, food is good, staff are excellent, the rooms are in a separate building - small but clean with updated bathrooms. All in all - we had a good experience here. "

"The hotel is a family run business. They are friendly, kind and very likable. If you are planning a visit to Northumberland, this is the place to be. The view of the North Sea, along with the promenade are wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet with easy access to local tourist sites. I would stay there again."
