"My wife and I stayed a night en route to the ferry in Port Hardy. We are so happy we chose to stay at the Sportsman Inn. The whole town was so quaint and charming. The people were terribly nice. The food at the little pub was top notch. Some city joints could learn a thing or two. Our room was spottless, the bed was plush and soft. Parking was easy, and the staff was pleasant. The proximity to the waterfront camt be beat, we took a little stroll in the morning and it was beautiful. We will be staying again next time we are in the area. 10/10 would recomend. "

"This is a 100 year old hotel in the village of Alert Bay. Our room had a small balcony with a great view. The breakfast included bread, fruit and yogurt. The dining room downstairs had a limited menu. Don’t pay any attention to the one posted online. Prices, of course were higher , but the food was good. "
