We enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as described and the location was perfectly suited for our needs. The owner provided great information before and during our trip. We would highly recommend!
The house was spotless! Our favorite things about it were location, stocked kitchen, extra blankets, labeling of cabinets and light switches, and the ping pong table.
I’m so glad I booked the Honey Bear house for so many reasons. The cleanliness was unbelievable and the house was fully stocked with everything imaginable. Will definitely rent again
The Honey Bear House is a truly amazing cabin! Everything is spotless and in nearly brand-new condition. Melissa is very quick to respond and gave us recommendations for things to do during our stay.
Beautiful house with very spacious rooms. Loved being in the woods yet close drive to Cacapon State Park. Check-in Check out process was very easy and the communication was fast when we had a question. Would recommend and stay again.
Melissa and Danny were super responsive and wonderful. They responded immediately to inquiries. The house was immaculate in a great location with tall trees and ponds close by. Would definitely stay here again!
Hands down, the nicest cabin I’ve found here in Berkeley Springs! Every detail put into this home, is clearly visible. It’s a modern sleek and rustic cabin, beautiful all around. It’s a short distance to great hikes and downtown-we will certainly be renting out this beautiful getaway again! The hosts, Melissa and Danny-extremely thoughtful and attentive.
The Honey Bear house was in a beautiful and peaceful location. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The house was super clean and the electric car charger was super easy to use. We had a great family stay and Melissa was super responsive. We highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay at this house. The house is beautiful! It was well laid out, comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and helpful. The location is rural (awesome night sky), but a few minutes from 522 and the main road. This is an excellent place to stay in Berkeley Springs. We likely will be back.

It was a very well maintained property, and easy to locate. Kid friendly.
This was a very well maintained property that was easy to find and had accessible walking trails right on the property. We took three small children and they had plenty of space to move around inside and out. The interior of the house was also laid out in such a way that the kids couldn't easily get into things they shouldn't. I would recommend it to anybody and plan on coming back. Great stay!
The cabin was beautiful - even better than we had pictured! The cabin is incredibly spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The view off the back porch is so peaceful, and I had a great time crashing around in the woods on the trails behind the property. A great spot for a family getaway, with room for everyone to have their own space when they wanted and come together when they wanted. I would absolutely stay again, and bring even more family.
We had an amazing time on our trip. The house is immaculate and beautifully furnished. It has everything you would want in a vacation rental. We really enjoyed the ping pong table and putting puzzles together. There was so much room for three couples, with the luxury of three bathrooms. We ended up not bringing our dog, but she would have loved it and we appreciated that she would have been welcome there. Melissa was kind enough to provide a refund of the pet fee.Check-in and check-out was a breeze and so much information was provided ahead of time and at the house that we didn’t have any questions or issues. It’s a very short drive to Cacapon State Park which is the main place we wanted to visit on our trip.We would definitely stay at the house again and are recommending it to other family members!

Wonderful
Melissa was true to form and we loved our R&R at the honey bear house (we stay at the Boone house as well). Reading, drawing and playing ping pong as well as walks around one of the two ponds w our dog filled our days. Melissa’s attention to detail setting up the cabin incl directions and labels where everything was (and labels how to start the spiffy fabulous washer and dryer he he) had us wanting absolutely nothing!
Thank you!
Maryanne (w husband and dog)
The house was very spacious, nicely laid out, thoughtfully stocked (and labeled) and super clean and comfortable. It is easily apparent that a lot of thought was put into stocking the kitchen and well as providing a lot of little touches (extra blankets, games, etc) throughout the house. Highly recommend and would definitely return, if in the area. Overall great place to relax and unwind. As a side note, we did have cell service, but reception could be better. WiFi was there, but we found it to be temperamental (not shocking considering the location). Not an issue for us, but could be if consistent fast access is a must.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Honeybear House. Melissa was extremely accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay with Melissa again.
Remote and very peaceful location. Modern home with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed by all. We don’t often think of returning to a previous location but this one is a very high probability as it fit our family of 8 very well. Great communications with host
We enjoyed our weekend stay at The Honey Bear House. The space was open, welcoming, and clean! The wooded location made it feel like a true getaway. We enjoyed walking the trails and sitting on the large porch. The living area in the basement (ping pong table, comfy couch, tv, and fireplace) was excellent for relaxing at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the home was nicely decorated. Melissa's communication was proactive and immediate. We would definitely stay in this home again!
