Beautiful Log Chalet/Cabin with Hot Tub

The Ridge View Chalet was built in 2007, comes fully furnished, and sits back off the beaten path, not in a busy development but amongst the quiet natural beauty of the area and the wispy pine trees. It is centrally located between Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania and is less than two hours away from Baltimore and Washington, DC.

This beautiful chalet-style log cabin has 3 fully finished levels, 4 bedrooms, and 3.5 full baths, and can accommodate up to 8 guests. It is located within 5 minutes of Cacapon State Park, which offers an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones golf course, more than 20 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, picnic areas, basketball courts, tennis, and a restaurant and recreation center.

The Chalet is also minutes from the historic town of Bath/Berkeley Springs, where you can partake in its natural mineral baths, local art, antiques, and the Berkeley Springs State Park. Nearby, Coolfont and The Woods resorts provide many amenities, such as spas, a fitness center/gym, indoor swimming, entertainment, sledding, and restaurants.

For ski and snowboard/tube lovers, the chalet is just a 30-35 minute drive to White Tail Ski Resort and other ski/snow tubing locations. Other popular sights and activities include the C&O Canal Park and Trail, Rails to Trails, the Paw Paw Tunnel, Cacapon and Potomac River float trips, Civil War Battlefields, and historic Harper's Ferry.

The large A-frame-style Log Cabin offers three levels of beautiful surroundings and views, numerous large sun-filled windows, and custom/mood lighting at every turn. We have added a multi-level deck and screen porch to allow everyone to have their own favorite space.

The top level has a spacious Loft with Balcony, a desk with 2 Bedrooms (1 Queen and 2 Twin), and a full bath.

The Main Level offers a luxurious and cozy living and dining area, with a floor-to-ceiling stone Fireplace with a custom Log Mantle, Satellite TV, Verizon DSL High-Speed Internet service with a wireless router, DVD/VCR player, and iPod-capable Stereo. A fully equipped kitchen on the main floor includes a dishwasher and microwave and a breakfast bar with a matching stone front. A gas grill is also available. The en suite main bedroom with a king-size bed is on this level, along with the convenient powder room and main-level laundry room!

Downstairs is a full walkout basement with a Family Room, a Dart Board, a Ping-Pong Table, a Pool Table, satellite TV, a DVD Player, the fourth Bedroom with full bed and another full bath!

Outdoors, enjoy our screen porch, wrap-around decks, fire pit, and 8-person hot tub.

Almost Heaven!! What a lovely place to spend a week! There was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The beds were comfy and having 3 full bathrooms a plus. We enjoyed the hot tub and decks. Morning coffee in the screened in porch was so enjoyable in the quietness. Very peaceful surroundings. This was our favorite vacation rental and would stay at the cabin again if we gety back to West Virginia.

The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. A lot of board games for down time. The cookware was very non-stick and in great condition. All appliances were in great condition. The stovetop was very hot and efficient. The climate control kept the space very comfortable. Water pressure and heat was excellent. Plenty of parking space. There was wood for the fire pit underneath the rear of the porch. The host was very accommodating.

Our family of 6 had a great stay. The house was very comfortable, the amenities were great, wifi was excellent. The pool table and the variety of board games available were a big hit.

Great place for family getaway

Great location off the beaten path. Very nice cabin. Family enjoyed the hot tub, playing darts,pool and ping pong. Just minutes from Berkeley Springs and state parks. Would stay again.

Girls spa weekend

Stayed with a group of women for Berkeley springs spa weekend. We had a wonderful weekend, close to town and far enough away to enjoy the evening woods. The house was on a long dirt road, such a peaceful place and beautiful outdoor area with hot tub. Such a great place.

Amazing quiet getaway

The property was perfect for a quiet trip away to rejuvenate. Plenty of room to spread out, lots of games and puzzles, with a grocery store within a quick drive. Berkeley Springs is such a cute little town, with wonderful spas.

Large, clean house with plenty of space for eating, resting, and spending time with friends. The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked with cookware, and that hot tub is huge!

We booked this cabin for a girls weekend and it did not disappoint. It was so clean and had everything we needed. Gina was a great host and got back to me in a timely manner when I had questions. I will absolutely be booking this cabin again for future vacations.

This is an amazing house for a large family or a few families! Plenty of space to spread out both indoor and out. Would definitely stay here again. 1 minor downfall - the beds are not that comfortable. Besides that the house was fully stocked and lovely!

Thanksgiving getaway

The house was beautiful. Steep hill to access property that i wasnt expecting. Game room was fun but darts were missing. Beds and furniture comfortable and clean. Visited atasia spa, woods golf course and canary grill. Canary grill was outstanding. Gina was great. Would recommend.

New Year's 2024

The location is secluded and wooded. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and was very clean and well stocked. The hot tub was large and well maintained. There was a beautiful new deck on one side of the cabin. There was plenty of space for 7 adults to relax comfortably. Our group has stayed in many different cabins for our New Year's weekend and everyone agreed that this was our favorite. I would highly recommend!!

Quiet, peaceful, convenient to Berkeley Springs

I stayed at this cabin with three friends to celebrate our 60th birthday year. The cabin is in a quiet peaceful setting yet is convenient to Berkeley Springs and nearby Cacapon State Park. It is a well-appointed cabin in the woods with a lovely hot tub and a great screened porch! We had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the ping pong table! The owner was very responsive to our questions. We didn't do a lot of cooking but the kitchen would have been fine for making full meals (we dined out at the Canary Grill and highly recommend it for service and food). We are definitely planning to return!

Fun, Old-fashioned Family Christmas!

My husband and I enjoyed Christmas with his family in this beautiful cabin! The layout and spaciousness of the rooms was perfect and everything was very clean and well-kept. There was plenty of wood for the fire pit and the new deck connecting the back porch to the hot tub meant not having to deal with bulky shoes for a quick dip. The whole house has a filtration system so the water does not have the typical sulfur smell common to the location. While we were there, we had a couple of questions about how things worked and the host responded to our messages within minutes. This was very much appreciated! We loved our stay and we're sad to leave. I would highly recommend this property!

Labor Day Family Get-Away

Beautiful and comfortable log cabin provided the opportunity for our family to share the weekend together. There was five of us and we each had a bed. Complete kitchen for cooking meals, plenty of space for the little and a hot tub for nighttime relaxation. I would definitely stay at this location again. Part of the road to the cabin is compacted gravel with a few potholes. We took it slow and steady and experienced no problems. Never had to contact the owners but we communicated before the stay and they responded promptly. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of space for everyone to sit and the basement had a pool table/ping pong. Just down the street from Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park. Shopping and restaurants are within 15 minutes of the cabin. Thinking about visiting - Don't hesitate or you may miss the opportunity

Absolutely amazing!

Cabins are home to the coziest memories and we sure did make them in this cozy, beautiful place. I didn’t realize how much our crew needed a little break from the chaos and everyday routine. No set schedule and just seeing what the day brings was so good for the soul and Berkeley Springs, WV was just the place for that. My husband and I woke up before the kids every morning sat on the cozy sofa and enjoyed coffee by the fireplace. We had more than enough space to all enjoy our meals outside on the porch or at the big kitchen table. At night after relaxing in the spacious hot tub the kids loved having the choice to play pool, hang by the fire pit or wind down in the upstairs loft. We highly recommend visiting the state park as well as having a morning roman bath at the bath house followed by lunch at the canary grill. If you ever find yourself in Berkeley springs or just looking for a place to have a relaxing getaway this is the place for you! I highly recommend this cabin and will be returning in the near future.
