Great place!
My cousins and I enjoyed our weekend stay. Plenty of room for everyone. The owners did a good job on the lay out and decor of this place. The bunk room was the perfect place to sit and visit in the evenings and the back porch was a relaxing place for our morning coffee. Would stay here again!

Relaxing, fun getaway
Our family of 6 joined another family of 6 and had a great stay. The house slept us all comfortably and we had everything we needed. After spending each day enjoying Guadalupe State Park, the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. We enjoyed a campfire and stargazing in the peaceful setting. We highly recommend for families!

Great Weekend Away
Place was just what we needed and had everything we needed. Great backyard to throw a frisbee and catch a football (besides the pool of course). Host provided tons of info prior to our arrival and was great! Recommend.

Beautiful and easy time
We had a wonderful time here. The house is one level, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, awesome outdoor space, with a beautiful salt water pool. Everything was clean and the communication quick and kind. Three generations of us had a great time. We hope to be back!

Beautiful Home
The home was perfect for our group that traveled to TX for a family event. The way they had the rooms (sleeping arrangements) split on either side of the home to accommodate different groups of guests was wonderful. Great kitchen area for everyone to gather in and be able to eat meals together.

Lots of room and nice property
We used this property for a group of hunting buddies. We hunted at Joshua Creek Ranch but wanted a place we could spread out, cook some great meals and relax outside. This place fit the bill.

The house, host, and the property were all amazing. I can't speak highly enough for the service. We noticed the coffee pot had a crack in it upon arrival. We weren't worried about it but I let them know. They were there before our morning coffee with a new one ready to go.

We enjoyed our stay. Went for a wedding and met up with family. The house was clean, lovely setting. Only complaint was we had my mother who is elderly with us and she had a hard time with the 2 steps along walkway entering home and the toilets were all low and difficult for her to use without assist. Otherwise, it was good. Would recommend.

A Stay to Remember
The owners of the home were very accomodating to our needs from the beginning to the end! The location was close enough to stores where you go go grab what you need and come back quick so you wouldn't miss out on anything going on while you are away! The main focal point for us was the fire pit. Recommend bringing out extra chairs if you have more than 6 people that will be by the fire. We stayed with 12 people from my grandmother to my teenage nephew and niece. Everyone had their space to retire to at the end of each night. We stayed from Friday to Sunday. My family was already talking about coming back out to this exact location during warmer times to enjoy the pool! Cannot say enough good things about this place and the home owners that assisted us. We WILL be staying here again in the future!

Beautiful place!
We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful as well as the scenery! Specially with the big land and the deers greeting us in the early morning lol.Instructions on how to check in were clear and the host was friendly. We’re definitely booking again. You will absolutely have a great time!

Best House in 5 years
We go to this area every year during the Fourth of July to float and get away from everything. This house is the best so far in the last 5 years. We had 12 total guests and 10 of us are adults. There is plenty space to roam around inside and outside the house. The kitchen is big enough for us to cook and have 5 others standing in there just talking. The 2 masters with their own bathrooms is perfect for our group. Outside we had the pool to jump in which was very nice. The water was a bit warm due to 100 plus temps outside but very refreshing and clean. We had visitors every night we were there between 6 and 9pm. It was mainly one deer but sometimes there were 3 or 4 others that came out when we were swimming. The house overall was pretty clean. We had a good line of communication with the host. Zero issues while we were there and we will most likely book this again pretty soon. Maybe when it gets a little cooler. You wont be disappointed in this house or with this host.

Nice home. I would recommend an upgrade on the cookware, etc in the kitchen. Some cookware is in pretty bad shape. We did see a tarantula and scorpion in the house, my DIL was stung by a scorpion in her bed but she’s okay; may want to warn others to look for them and don’t leave items in the floor they could crawl into. Loved the pool and property and the home accommodated our family well.

The house was very roomy. As it appeared to have additions going across, the bedrooms were spread out. The only suggested improvements would be replacing the old refrigerator with one with an ice maker. The sink is right next to it. The outher would be adding loovered doors or a barn door between the dining area and the room with the bunk beds. The young chrilden slept next to the main area.

Great for families
This is a beautiful home. Family is comprised of elderly parents, 4 adults and 4 teens. It was enjoyed by all generations. Kitchen is stocked with all we needed: pots, pans, plates, cups. The coffee maker can brew a pot or take K-cups. Previous guests have left pantry items which is helpful. The property may sit on 17 acres, but about 3 acres (my guess) is what is cleared for use. This is plenty of space to enjoy it's beauty. Many towels are available for bathroom and pool use. Pool is kept nice with a pool vac pump that remains in the pool. There are board games available for kids to use. Communication with owners was excellent. HEB is about 15 min drive, Guadalupe River SP was about 8 min, downtown San Antonio about 40 min.

Great location! Close to my daughter. Pictures mostly accurate. No cushions on outdoor couch which made it uncomfortable to sit on. Otherwise great stay! Will be back as it’s so close to where I need to be!

Hill Country Getaway
We were in the area for a family wedding at the venue Lost Mission. This house was perfect for our family. My husband and I stayed in the master suite at one end of the house and our kids and spouse slept in the 3 bedrooms at the opposite end of the house. The grandchildren slept in the bunk beds. We were pleasantly surprised to find a portable pack and play and highchair for our 20-month-old grandson. We also found an iron and ironing board available for our use. We loved the pool!!! We loved this property!

This house was perfect for our family gathering. It was only a short 15 minutes drive into Boerne, Texas. The property manager was most helpful and answered my questions promptly. After a fun day in Boerne, we relaxed in the pool in the beautiful back yard.

Such a wonderful place to stay at! The property manager was so nice even left us a little gift when we arrived. The kids enjoyed the pool and so did the adults, and so many towns were close to the area so if we wanted to go out or needed something from the store it wasn’t a far drive. The property was amazing! Jeff was a wonderful host. He had great communication, without being intrusive. The pool and yard were one of the favorite hangout spots for our group. All the bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms were perfectly decorated. Although there was a very comfortable feel, the property was professionally maintained inside and out. I would recommend the property to everyone looking to have a relaxing weekend with family or friends out in hill country!

Perfect setting for our family to reunion with our 3 daughters and their families. Unfortunately, the weather was too cool for the pool, which was so nice. Great property for large families. The house had all the daily items you would have in your own home, pots, pans, silverware, dishes, glasses, variety of appliances, cleaning supplies, towels, etc. The house’s decor is beautiful and is very spacious. Kids loved having the living room and bunk beds area to themselves. The backyard set up was on point. The cool mornings sitting outside with coffee was a great way to start the day. We had even had deer visit us twice, we counted up to 20! Wood was provided for the fire pit which we used several times for s’mores. The location is about 15 mins from a large grocery store, so planning meals ahead is a good idea. Along with picking up laundry detergent, plastic cups, paper plates and your choice of toilet paper. There is a good pizza spot, Bergheim pizza, Scooters and gas just mins away. The location is 40 mins away from the main attractions but it’s well worth the drive. Coming back to this beautiful, peaceful ranch was the best way to end the day.

Went to Bergheim to see family - this house was a great find! Rooms were big and spacious. Pictures do not do this place justice! Great communication with the property manager too, frequent updates and they sent emails with local suggestions too. About 30 minutes from San Antonio. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely cosmetic finishes inside, but the outside of the house needs some attention as well as one of the kitchen drawers fell apart. The property is lovely, having lots of deer as well as a litter of young cats. The sunken living room as well as the sunken master bed and bath at the back of the house had no delineation. This resulted in myself as well as another of our group suffering a fall. We had a wonderful time and appreciated the availability of the property management. Very near Guadalupe River State Park for our hiking.

Thank you for staying with us, ladies! We're so glad you enjoyed yourselves. I do want to address the "sunken" living room you mentioned. It's simply a very small step down in a very well-lit room. We do feel terrible that someone missed it, but we have lived in this home and rented it for over 6 years, and have never had the first issue with the step-down. While we hate to ruin our floors, we've labeled it with a step-up sticker to avoid anyone else missing the step. Thank you!

Girls Getaway
We enjoyed our time at this property. It was spacious and plenty of room for all of us. The pool was a lovely addition along with the outdoor seating. We also enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the early morning and evenings. Lots of deer come in to the backyard. We were close to shopping/restaurants including a H‑E‑B which made it convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and made lots of great memories.

We stayed here for a family wedding at a venue 10 minutes away. It is a great set up for families to stay here. 2 master suites on opposite ends of the house is really nice. The pool was great. Communication with manager easy and fast. Highly recommended this house.

Very Pleased with Our Stay
Our family really enjoyed our stay. The pool was salt water instead of chlorine, which was a pleasant surprise. The neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed watching the deer graze in the back yard every evening and morning. The house was very comfortable for our family of 5. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all very nice. The manager had amazing communication with us. We would highly recommend this house for any family vacation.

Thanks for your great review, Martin! We're so glad you appreciate the salt water pool! Some guests think that means the pool will be like a cruise ship with actual SALT WATER, but as you know, that's not how it works. Think of it more like a water softener. We invested more money to replace the old chlorinated system with a salt water system, as it's so much easier on skin, hair and pool components. There is no salt taste, it's just good, soft pool water! In almost 8 years, you may be the first person to acknowledge that, so THANK YOU! You were great guests, and we hope you'll be back!

This property was an excellent location For our family. We had kids from ages 4 to 11 and there was so much to do from hiking to caves to state park to river to San Antonio. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and plenty of space for everyone. The swimming pool was such a nice addition on hot summer days for the kids!
