"This was an excellent property for my husband and I. We were only staying the night and we needed some place clean and affordable. This property fit the bill and more. We liked the ability to check in without front office staff. The room was very clean and loved the newly remodeled design. If we’re ever back in the area, we will absolutely stay here. "

"Rooms was excellently renovated; all the comforts of home; great bed & pillows. High water pressure in the shower. Breakfast plentiful & tasty. Steep rocky stairs outside, so a warning those with physical handicaps climbing. Albeit, this is a historic location (including the stairs) and that is also the beauty of it. Huge outside yard to sit, eat, listen to music, watch the fire, etc. I had a challenge managing the heater, a set of instructions would had helped and/or I could had asked. The host was terrific. This was a very enjoyable stay with no complaints from me. We'll be back. "

"We were initially given a room that was occupied or had not been cleaned. That could’ve been an embarrassing situation luckily nobody was in the room at the time. The room was nice. Hotel was clean. Prepared to pay seven bucks for coffee."
