The apt itself was ok and clean. What we didn't expect was a complicated check-in process that seems like we were doing a scavenger or treasure hunt game - from retrieving a key at a different location to finding a wrong building because on Expedia it is listed as one address, and on a paper instruction (received after fetching for a key) is another address. And they are two different streets although not very far from each other but if you know Bergen, and dont drive a car, there are many steps to climb. Luckily we found out there is an elevator (and that bldg can be reached via elevator on 4th floor) as we have heavy suitcases. Then when we get to the building - it is another little maze game to find out which door it is - building A or B. So imagine us feeling tired from travelling and having to deal with scavenger hunt game and walked through the maze. The kitchen stove is also another annoying issue as you have to go to the fuse box and flip the circuit breaker each time you need to cook something.

Nice apartment but quite far from the tram/bus stop. Good view of the water and the mountain. Quite area but have supermarket nearby. Apartment was quite big, with 2 bedroom and a lot of space for storage etc. definitely recommend this hotel

Great location on the water! Very clean apartment, easy check in. Very quiet building. Was perfect for a couple weeks in Bergen on a business trip.

There needs to be more instructions on parking. Also instructions on getti n g to the unit from street or garage At least for building 62 and 63. Also include the hours of parking. We had no idea the garage closed. A parking pass would be beneficial. I would pay a little extra knowing i had acess to parking. The unit itself is nice. Clean and comfortable for a short stay.

A fine view of Bergen. Well appointed apartment. Comfortable and spacious. The office staff responded readily to my questions. Only 2 things needed, one important and the other far less important: a more detailed map of the streets to get to the apartment building! and a page in the house manual to give instructions on how to use the tv and remotes.

Fantastic location, close to Paradis and Downtown. Grocery store less than 100m from condo, very convenient. Condo was perfect size and very nice and modern. Would prefer and recommend over hotel any day!

Fabulous Value Apartment in Bergen

This is easily the best value accommodation in Bergen and the best value I have found in decades of travel. It's a small two bedroom, one bath apartment with balcony for way less than a minimal hotel. The location is excellent, 25 minute walk to the centre of the city and excellent bus service, too. Line up BLYSS.NO app and you have bus and tram done. Come in October for BIFF 2025 (Bergen International Film Festival). I was here by accident but was able to get to a screening. I have done a lot of travelling in the past 40 years and this is the first place I could move to and live in for a while.

Apartement looked brand new. Beautifully located. Excellent vue on the fjord. Walking distance to the bus station and trains station. Arrived at 2 AM, Took a taxi from the airport that drop me off in front of the KeyBox. Just by following the message that was sent prevuously by Bjovika, it was easy to get the appartment's key, and a walking distance to the apartment. Highly recommend Expedia and Bjorvika for the no-hastle reservations. Communication with Bjorvika is excellent (by phone, e-mail or SMS)

A little confusing on the directions but clean apartment in an ok area. Apartment needs to figure out better directions. Address on location finder brings you a distance way and key box located “next to gym” is not helpful when there are multiple gyms around. I met another family wandering around the area confused I had to help locate Bjørvika. They need to figure this out but the apartment was clean and a good stay for the price.

Frustrating and poor communication makes it bad

Lets start with the good: Nice place, clean, large, good kitchen, nice couch, private and quiet. Small balcony but overlooked the water and old town. Location was not bad - not walking distance to anything but not far from bus line and had a washer and dryer. The bad - EVERYTHING else Even though I “paid” on Hotels.com I apparently did not and they had me pay through their portal separately - and it was so poorly communicated and last minute they ended up cancelling my reservation and I had to rebook. I “prearranged parking” but that all went away when it cancelled so had no place to park. Communication was VERY bad - key pickup on a street with no parking, crude written directions to the actual apartment not near there - that were wrong, poorly written, and no clear way to get luggage to the apartment (not even temporary parking - entrance on a busy street no garage). Took a day to get parking arranged and same issue - VERY poor directions, had to message them 5 times to get the parking, and it was 5 buildings away from the apartment. Bed was hard, only two pillows (had to buy our own) - NO amenities (soap, shampoo etc). And shower could not be contained in the shower - leaked all over the entire bathroom for every shower. It was a good deal but definitely not worth all the frustration and difficulty. In particular having to carry luggage up three flights of stairs in the rain was bad. I would definitely not book this again.

Staff were in informed numerous times that the stove would go into an alarm mode requiring us to trip the breaker to reset. Even maintenance can, the issue was not let resolved. The dishwasher didn’t work, but we never reported it since they couldn’t get the stove to work. Instructions were not left as to where garbage was to go. Again, had to email for instructions. In general, great location but the staff need to prepare instructions to be left in the unit

Perfect Bergen stop over

Went over to visit friends great little apartment situated in a great area 30 minutes walk from the city beautiful walk too or 10 minutes to the local tram stop to whiz you in comfort into the city

Check- in worked well for us, with a lovely 2 bedroom waterfront apartment provided. Amazing views, 25 minute walk into main city centre attractions. The apartment was in a safe, quiet area and was well equipped.

The apartment was very good and location was amazing. Customer support was also very good. In the shower area there are no soap racks to keep soap's or shampoos. We had to keep it on the floor and I think thats not convenient. Also there was no instructions to use the washing machine. It didnt work, so why keep that machine there.
