"Pros: Sehr liebe, nette, freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und eine sehr saubere, gemütliche Unterkunft. Und übrigens gibt es inzwischen einen TV im Zimmer, was aber von uns nicht genutzt wurde. Cons: Ein mini kleiner Kritikpunkt für uns war, dass die Unterkunft direkt am Haus der Gastgeber im Garten stand, was weder in der Beschreinbung vor kam noch aus den Abbildungen zu erkennen war. Wir würden dennoch dort wieder Urlaub machen und Empfehlen es wärmstens weiter."

B. das deutsche Erdölmuseum direkt in Wietze, das ehemalige KZ Bergen Belsen, die Residenzstadt Celle mit ihrem Schloß und den über 400 Fachwerkhäusern in der Altstadt. Gut ausgeschilderte Radwege und wer mag, recht anspruchsvolle Wege durch die reichlich vorhandenen Wälder."

"The hotel staff was excellent. They helped us find a lovely local restaurant with authentic German food for the area. They helped us book an early morning taxi for the kids so they could make their flight in Hannover. Thr food was delicious. The room was great."

"A deceptively good hotel. It doesn’t look up to much from the outside but once inside it is welcoming, clean and very smart. My room was excellent and very comfortable. A short walk to the very nice Celle town centre and shops nearby as well fuel. The breakfast was very good, always being topped up and great choice. I asked for hot water to make tea in my room, which was not a problem. I would stay again. "

They lock the door between the elevator and the lobby at night and there is no one at reception — I have a 6:00 am flight from Hannover and needed to leave the hotel at 3:30 am — I was banging on the door for 10 minutes but there is no one at reception. I almost missed my taxi, except I found a door open at the back and had to walk all around the hotel in the dark pulling my suitcases — I am 77 years old — this is outrageous and reckless — I am furious and will do everything I can to make sure no one stays there in the future — and I will let the Gedenksta Bergen-Belsen know of my horrendous experience "

My last visit was with my wife if a better room but this time the room was very small and no air con and it was very hot in the night.
