"Very clean and quiet property. The bed was very comfortable and the room was colorful which I appreciate. The bathroom was divided into a sink area separate from the toilet and shower. The shower was excellent Walkable or short drive to the historic Goliad square."

"Pros: The staff was great vary nice and attentive. The room was vary clean and spacious. The breakfast was good Cons: the place was recently remodeled but cut a lot of corners and looks like they didn't care how it was finished vary poor job Over all it was a good stay"

"Room was nice. My only issues are with the staff and amenities. To start we arrived before 8:00 to find no one at the desk (which seems to be the new norm in south Texas). There is a phone on the counter that you pick up and it rings and rings and rings then a man finally comes out of the back. I told him we needed to check in. He says “mmhmm” and then not much else. This place does not have an elevator so I hope you didn’t bring much luggage. We got to the room to find a tiny shampoo bottle and one tiny bar of soap and nothing else. We noticed we forgot our toothpaste so I called down to the desk and asked if they had any we could purchase to which I got a very rude “no” in response. At check out….again no human to be seen. If there is no staff shouldn’t my room be cheaper?! Don’t bother with breakfast easy. 4 barely cooked pieces of bacon and runny eggs"

"Hotel was nice. Room was clean. No issues with anything to do with the property. My only issue was check in. No one was at the front desk (it was 8:00pm). There is a phone on the counter to call. It rang and rang and rang. No answer. Finally a woman comes out of the back. She said “can I help you?” Those are the only 4 words spoken to me the entire check in. Literally. Not one other word. I’m from Texas. Lived in Texas till I graduated high school. When did Texas people become so rude?!? "

"The room was beautiful and clean. The staff at check-in and all through my visit was exceptional and so friendly. The only complaint I would have would be the outside trash cans were full for the four days I was there. They never were emptied once. And the hallway had a large fan that went all day and all night. I’m not sure if they were trying to dry up carpeting or what the purpose of it was for. And then lastly, they piled all the laundry in the hallways while they were cleaning. Nothing looks worse than walking down the hall and those piles of dirty laundry. That was a big turn off for me but everything else was excellent. "
