"Nice place"

"Room was as expected. Close to where we needed to be"

"The rooms have been nicely refurbished. However several details needed attention they are the following: 1. The TV reception is very bad a station would be on then go off for several minutes, come back on only to go black again for several minutes. No point in trying to watch anything. 2. The coffee maker did not work. We tried in several outlets but it did not light. 3. The shower was very difficult to adjust the temp, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. For safety I would strongly recommend an upgrade to a better controller that is easy to control. I finally gave up on having a good shower. 4. Also for safety sake I would also recommend eliminating the multiple extention cords that have been used to extend power to multiple devices in favor of a safer extention of power using conduit. In summary it was good for a one night stay but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer."

"It's off season in northern Michigan...but, the stay was very pleasant. Room was very clean. Easy check in and at door parking. All we could ask for."

"Very nice atmosphere! It was Easter so the hotel and restaurant were decorated very nicely! Bar was fun and had great food and wine choices. Our room was cozy and quiet!"

"The lake view was amazingly peaceful and we even saw a bald eagle flying over the lake. The pool table in the basement was a good time for our group. Also loved all the movie selections in the dvd bins even though we didnt watch any. We ran into a minor problem and the host was available for the fix and had great response time for our issue. Would 100% recommend to others and may come back with a family in the future"

"This is our 3rd time staying here and it never disappoints. The room was very clean and made you feel like you were home. It’s been 5 years since we stayed last and I noticed the room has been painted and a change in decor. It was nice to see they strive to keeping the place inviting. Love staying somewhere with big fluffy towels and pillows not typical of most hotels. I appreciated the personalized communication from staff before, during and after our stay. "
