"The place was nice. It was just me and I only really slept there while spending the weekend at Turk Lake, so I can't speak to making meals or anything. The bed and bathrooms were fine.It didn't really bother me, but I could see others being surprised that there were no curtains or blinds for the windows. The trees do the privacy work, but it could feel uncomfortable for someone staying there. It's visible in the pictures, but it's something someone may not think to look for Overall, it did a perfect job of being a place to stay for a few nights while I mostly hung out with friends on the lake."

"My sisters and I enjoyed the historical Winter Inn and will definitely be back. The staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. The room, though small, was clean and cute. The downstairs tavern was unique and quite large, and the outdoor patio was charming. We only ate small bites at the restaurant, which was typical "bar food," but again, not really enough to give the food a full review. Our waitress was so very, very nice and we enjoyed our time as a family at the Inn."

"Great property and location. Only thing lacking was there were only 3 washcloths for a three bedroom house. I’m guessing some have been removed and just need to be replaced."

"Beautiful property on Clifford lake and prefect for a family vacation or just a week away with friends and family. The lake was amazing and we caught all different kinds of fish right off the dock! We did have issues with the pool and did not use it for our vacation due to algae issues from the lake but, the host was very accommodating and let us use the boat instead which was very generous. The hot tub was a great amenity for when you want to relax at night. You do need to be very cautious when going in the pool or hot tub since the house is on the lake and you had to shower and wash your bathing suit each time you used it. My tip would be to bring extra suits and designate certain days for the pool or the lake! Overall we had a great vacation and would definitely recommend staying on Clifford lake!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The views were breathtaking and made for the perfect backdrop from sunrise to sunset. The outdoor space was one of our favorite features, with plenty of room to relax, enjoy the scenery, and spend quality time together. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and the perfect way to unwind after a day by the lake.What truly made this stay exceptional was the host. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. They were friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. It's clear they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in providing a great experience.If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a charming small-town setting, this lake house is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it and will return in the future! "

"The place was just what we needed. The views were amazing. If you forgot something they probably had it there for you to use. If we race again at the track will be staying there again."
