We stayed at this hotel because it was a 5 minutes walk to the wedding venue that we were attending. The staff (everyone) was more than fantastic. Extremely friendly, helpful, and tentative to all our needs. My only complaint is our bathroom (room 809), had a bad smell, which spread to most part of the room. It seems to lessen over our 4 nights stayed. Or perhaps we just gotten used to it. 😊

Five star hotel experience for an economical price

This is my third stay in Gokulam Grand, and I love it because I get it a more affordable price. The hotel is very clean and most spacious. The bathroom had both a shower and bath tub, giving me all the luxury I wanted. The breakfast had a wide variety of options of both International and Indian cuisine. I enjoyed the south Indian breakfast and some lovely deserts. However, the Wifi was very slow and had to speak to the IT team to get it rectified. There were small things missing, like spa slippers were not available and had to be requested, there were no glasses for drinks and the minibar was empty. However at the price I got, I still think it was a great deal.

One of the worst run hotels I've been too.

The staff here are very unhelpful. I can't reach them via the phone in the room. There was no answer for 24 room service even though they said there would be st the front desk. The wifi kept dropping in my room. The toilets in the lobby were disgusting and unhygienic. The gym is only open at certain hours. Within 5 mins of checking in the power on the floor shut down. Buffet dinner and breakfast were expensive and not good quality.

Very very weird management. They are so weirdly strict that it feels like they are misbehaving with us . The staff literally stopped my female friend to go to my room and change for her airport attire as she had flight in 2 hours . Very bad management. Its a useless 5 star . Pool you cant use . Spa they dont have staff for that . Breakfast timings are so strict that they wont even give you a plate if time is 10:31 am . You will struggle alot to get a room keycard once you left it in your room . PATHETIC MANAGEMENT. Feels like all internee have been appointed as head managers and they are ruining hotels name . Please hire someone whos sweet and mature !

Our experience was not great , i had previously contacted them to advise that we will be 3 adults , while it was booked for 2 , but had booked a twin bed room that sleeps three, they they checked us in , but i assumed that this was changed , after two days they said we will have to pay extra , which was fine , but was communicated to us like we were being dishonest. The room had only 1 towel , no hand towels , no ironing board , when we contacted room service , they brought us extra towel no hand towel and a filthy ironing board. We had to then go to the reception and ask again for a clean ironing board , the houspeeking staff said the provided ironing board was fine and after some convincing they changed the ironing board. To top it all we had a cockroach crawling around the table and the beer mug in the Bar. The housekeeping staff only on the third day of our stay provide us with towels for 3 guests. We booked this as all our family from overseas were staying there for the wedding. Our family members found cockroach’s in their rooms as well. We were extremely disappointed for a 5 star hotel. The price is the same as Taj Yeshwantpur which we all agreed would have been a better option .

Prima hotel… voldoet alleen niet aan de 4 sterren. Geen goede wifi… geen tv zenders… handdoeken werden niet aangevuld.. bij meldingen word er wel iemand gestuurd maar t probleem niet opgelost. Niet echt schoon op de kamer.. prachtig uitzicht denk ik als de ramen gezeemd worden ;-) Ontbijt heeft weinig tot geen broodbeleg.. Overige eten is heerlijk en volop keus (lunch en diner) Plus punt: personeel is altijd vriendelijk en aardig (maar tot nu toe vind ik dat overal in India)
