Cabin is equipped with a "whole house" generator by Generac; never be without power again!!

Outdoor enthusiast paradise! Elk viewing, Horse back riding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, or relaxing in the sun! Picnic area for entertaining or relax on the covered back porch and enjoy fantastic views of the water and mountains. Mountain Holiday Weekend Vacation.

The cabin and location is perfect for a mountain get a way. The cabin is clean, rustic and cozy. Located stream side.. we enjoyed fishing and relaxing by the water. The cabin is also near other other activities ; hiking , elk watching , fly fishing and a little wine tasting. We enjoyed all.

Family vacation in elk country

Nice, quiet location along the stream centrally located between Elk Viewing sites. The central air worked out well for two days it was in the 90s outside. Native trout in the stream. Recommend that you bring fly rod.

Loved the property and house

We absolutely loved the property. Our boys enjoyed playing sports in the fields along with running with our dog. We saw 3 large bulls (elk) in the front yard one morning, which was awesome. It is also close to everything you need and want to visit in Benezette. The house was clean and homey. We plan to stay again next year!

Peaceful

Beautiful property! We loved hanging out in the creek and the big front porch. We saw over twenty Elk riding around. Lots of deer and fawns too many to count. Turkey with babies and a duck in the creek with five babies. Looking forward to coming back.

We enjoyed the tranquil setting along the stream. Beds were great. Very clean yet quaint. We are returning in the fall with horses. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. Had elk wondering close to the property and deer across the stream. Kayaked on the stream..

A wonderful celebration

We absolutely loved our stay. This is the kind of cabin that just allows you to breathe a little slower and take it easy! We had our 4 children with us celebrating our oldest turning 16. The guys all tried to do a bit of fishing but it was a rather rainy day. Even with the weather being a bit unfavorable, we had an amazing time. It is a special place to spend time with family. We would absolutely love to spend another weekend at this cabin soon! I would certainly recommend it to anyone who would like to escape from the world for a bit! The cabin was beautifully clean and very well stocked up with everything that we needed.

Don't miss out on this phenomenal property

****PROS**** . --Vast beautifully manicured property. Mowed just as it shows in the pictures. Ample places for kids to play and let their imaginations run wild. . --Easy stream access and ample room for a canopy/sunbrella, table, blanket and a few chairs on the shoreline. . --Clean. The living room has vaulted ceilings, from which I didn't spy a single cobweb hanging. . --Ample wildlife, including chipmunks and crayfish for the kids to catch. We spied 3 bull elk in the front yard on two different evenings, as well as two others on one of the mornings. They are massive and majestic. . --Better wifi than expected. No streaming, but enough to check-in with the office. . ****CONS**** . --Kitchen is clean and functional but dated. You'll also want to bring your own wine glasses and corkscrew. . --Not the best tasting water, but the fridge does have a water filter. . --You are going to be asked to dispose of your garbage at a location that's maybe 10-15 minutes away. . --Not many options nearby to pick up things you might have forgotten (which is also oddly also a pro). I'd suggest Amazon or InstaCart (which seems to deliver from Home Depot and a small convenience store in town.) . --And finally, you are going to need to clear some time for a little more cleaning than is requested at most rentals. Its not backbreaking though -- and something you'll begrudgingly do, because you're going to want to come back. . All of this said -- we'd absolutely visit once again.

Peaceful tranquility

Just the sound of the creek was enough to make it enjoyable, but the property itself offered so much more. All the amenities you could ever need were provided. A very nice sitting porch, firepit, picnic table, easy access to the creek, and all sorts of wildlife. I highly recommend this one of you are looking for a great getaway.

Beautiful location and stay although the weather wasn't so great. Home had great updates since our last stay (2 yrs ago). Love that this home is pet friendly. If you are looking for a private location to unplug, this is it!

Weekend get away

Had a great time and saw plenty of Elk. My only issue was the wifi/internet was nonfunctional. Daughter had some courses for collage to work on and we had to go to St. Marys for her to work. Otherwise this is a Great place to stay.

Had a great weekend our family first time at the Waterfront place was beautiful by the waterfront house was exactly what was shown on Vrbo we were very impressed by the site. Did see some deer in the yard and a few Elk in the area definitely would recommend the place.

It was very quiet and serene. We loved the beauty of the mountains and the sound of the Sinnemahoning creek located behind the house. My husband was up early and saw a black bear cross over the creek.
