"This property is exactly as the pictures show. It is truly charming and quant and an oasis during our travels. The host was so kind and accommodating and her communication with us was excellent in every way. The location is otherworldly- to stay in the castle walls is incredible! "Hotel is located inside the medieval walls of Obidos. It is so charming to live inside the walled village. Hotel is also charming with each room with different layouts. Staffs were friendly and helpful with local recommendations. They provided a local welcome drinks of Gingjinha upon arrival. Rooms are clean with modern bathrooms. Restaurant is located right next to the medieval walls. Very unique experience to stay here."

"Location unbeatable. Room and public spaces were great. I planned trip to arrive a bit after 3pm check-in time. The room was not ready. Told me to tour the monastery or sit in lounge bar. This I wasn’t expecting after a busy, hot morning in Fatima. They comped me a glass of rosé. Were very attentive after that. The night /early morning guard was a sweetheart. They arranged for a bagged breakfast for my early departure to Lisbon airport. Fresh water and coffee/tea machine in the room were much appreciated!! Thank you Lis de Batalha Lui and staff!"
