Stay In The Heart Of Bend, Walk Everywhere!

Welcome to our vacation home. The Chalet is two-levels, with a king bed in the master upstairs, and two twin beds in the downstairs room. Plus there is a pull out queen sofa bed in the living room. Our Home has a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ on the back deck, and a front deck overlooking the quiet neighborhood, air conditioning, and a hot tub just off the back deck. We have equipped our home with just about everything that we desire, you’ll love it. Including a private hot tub off the back deck.
The house is located only a couple of blocks from downtown with all of the restaurants and shops that can be found there. Our home is also within easy walking distance of more than 5 of Bend's famous brew pubs (and many more if you are up for a little more than an easy stroll), and the Old Mill District. It's also easy to head for the river, or hit the road to Mount Bachelor for skiing in the winter. Come home and warm up by the gas fireplace, in the hot tub, or walk two blocks to enjoy the famous soaking pool at the McMenamin's St. Francis School.
One note! If you are planning to have a big, rowdy (bachelor? bachelorette?) party, please look for another location. Our home is in a residential neighborhood, and if there is much noise past 10 PM the neighbors will call the police.

Perfect location in Bend.

This rental is a short 5-10 min walk to restaurants and bars. Excellent communication from Aaron. Enjoyed the hot tub. Very comfy bed and a quiet location.

Perfect Place

We came to Bend to visit our daughter. This was the perfect place to set up base. Easy walk to town. Garage parking was wonderfully convenient. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Great location!

We really enjoyed the location of the house! The house is comfortable and spacious. We loved the hot tub, those jets are something, and needed after all the walking we did. Our only complaint would be the beds, they definitely could be upgraded to something more comfortable.

House was great and we enjoyed the hot tub. We went to a concert at the amphitheater and shopped in Bend, all in walking distance. Could not beat the location. Appreciated having two rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and we could all be together. Wonderful stay, thank you!

Great Location, Great House

Location cannot be beat, close to downtown and all the rec activities Bend has to offer. Great house, perfect for a couple, a family, or group of friends. Perfect for a winter or summer trip and perfect amount of space for people. All the little touches and amenities were perfect also, hot tub, etc. We'll definitely be back.

We spent 6 very fun days in this house—hot tub was very clean and in a serene spot. Beds comfy, plenty of hot water, clean and very well stocked kitchen. Walkable to downtown Bend, to Mill District, and riverfront. Owners were very responsive to several questions on our first day, and checking in was a piece of cake. Would stay again.

Great stay in Bend!

We (4 adults) had a great stay in the "Bend Chalet"!! The property was exactly as shown in the profile and was clean, cozy and comfortable. Location was quiet and convenient (especially for walking to Downtown & Drake park area). House had everything needed for cooking some meals and "general" supplies. Will certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Excellent Location & Very Comfortable

Our family of four was very comfortable staying here. We had everything we needed plus some thoughtful extras including condiments in the fridge and all the coffee fixings. There was lotion in the bathroom and it just felt like home. We walked to town easily. The home is in a safe neighborhood and everyone was very nice. We enjoyed the puzzles, ges and extra cozy blankets. For us the best part was having full access to the garage where we were able to safely store our bikes and biking gear! We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and communication

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Aaron's house. The house was clean and comfy, and nice and warm during the zero degree nights. We didn't end up walking into town, but took a Lyft instead because of the cold. But I could see that it would be an easy walk in warmer weather. The hot tub worked great and was perfect for after a day of skiing. The washing machine broke while we were there, but we were able to get in touch with Aaron quickly and he was very responsive. Overall a great stay!

A Wonderful Place to Rest

I hesitate to write this as it may make it harder for us to book this next year! We need to come back as we did not do anything in Bend that we had planned. This was the second week of a three-week vacation. A couple days before arriving in Bend I started feeling sick and ended up spending the first four days in Bend in the hospital. They recommended that I just stay at the house for the rest of the week to rest up as we decided to cut the trip short, drive to Portland and fly home. This was one of the of the most comfortable rentals we ever had which made a much better recovery. Highly recommended.

No hot tub but overall a good stay

We booked this house for my birthday and I all I wanted was a nice location and a hot tub. The location was nice but we really booked for the hot tub. I was so sad to arrive and see that it was not working. After contacting the owner he responded the next day saying that the control board was out and that it would not be fixed during our stay. He did refund me 8% of total fee. I would have liked to see more than that since the hot tub is in the title of the listing and was priced higher than other places in the area because of it. The location was pretty good and close to a lot. The house itself was not fully cleaned when we checked in (a random dress was laying on the floor, dishes were in the dishwasher, an opened bottle of soda was in the fridge and trash was in the bin off the kitchen) but honestly that was not a huge deal for us. The handle for the shower upstairs was in the tub but we were able to fix that after some tinkering. Older place with older furniture so wasn’t excepting perfection there and it met our needs just fine.

The location of this property is awesome. You can walk just about anywhere in just a few minutes. The property was well - equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient base to explore Bend.
