Awesome house! Come stay & play in Bend, Oregon, which always has the best outdoor activities and less crowds. Text me if you have ?'s at 541-350-7111. Sorry, no dogs or children or young adults. Minimum age renter/occupant is 28.
My house truly is in one of the best locations in Bend -- especially if you're into skiing, snow-shoeing, biking, hiking, golfing, fishing, kayaking, floating, and being drenched in all the amazing ambiance and activities you can do in and around the Deschutes River.
Wanoga sledding park (winter) / Wanoga mountain biking (summer) is a 10-minute drive from my (large) garage. I highly recommend riding Tiddlywinks and Funner trails from the Wanoga parking lot. (Don't tell the locals I told you!)
Super close and biking distance to some of Bend's best pubs, restaurants, music and art festivals, downtown, Drake Park, the Old Mill and Box Factory shopping, fine and casual dining areas, and Hayden Homes Amphitheater.
From my front door to trails galore! A 5-minute bike ride from my house to Phil's Trail System, world-class mountain biking. A 10-minute walk to one of the largest trail parks and Bend's best riverfront hiking, both have gorgeous views with easy river access.
I'm not a runner but several of my guests said there is a lot of trail running down Haul Road through Mt. Bachelor Village to the Deschutes River Trail.
5-minute drive to downtown, Old Mill Ctr, 10 Barrel, Lifty's Sports Bar & volleyball sand court, Portello Wine Bar, La Rosa's Mexican, Deschutes River floating put-in, paddle boarding, and more!
Driving up to my house, there's a very special feeling you get when you see it and walk in. It just FEELS GOOD when you're here. It feels peaceful and even healing, and it also feels festive.
The entire house is bright, sunny, and comfortable. Located on Westside Bend, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a great room featuring a large, open chef's kitchen, dining and living room areas.
The big, open spaces and the way the windows stream light in and at night my lighting makes this house magical. It sits above the other houses, which makes you feel like trees and blue sky is all around you, and the snow coming down is so wonderful to watch.
The front deck off the great room has a patio dining table and chairs.
The backyard has a larger patio table and more chairs, with tons of morning sunshine for coffee and breakfast, turning into shade midday for comfortable outdoor dinners and cool bedroom sleeping.
It's delightful and fun to sit with all the nature and wildlife around my house, such as deer with their fawns, quail, bunnies, and lots of birds singing right in my backyard.
All 3 bedrooms have high-end luxury beds: Master bedroom has a California king Tempur-Pedic bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen Molecule bed, 3rd bedroom has two Beautyrest twin beds.
Here's what past renters say...
"Perfect location, perfect home and a perfect host. Beautiful, friendly and quiet neighborhood. Only one stop sign between you and Mt. Bachelor. Quick, easy drive up to the resort and close to great restaurants and shopping. Her oversized two-car garage could easily accommodate our large SUV with racks and boxes on top. It was a huge plus that we could park in the garage each night and keep our vehicles and bikes secure and protected. Our host Elin was wonderful. She checked in on us after our arrival to see if we arrived OK and if we needed anything. Her home was immaculately clean, well-appointed with linens, towels and additional pillows. The beds were super comfortable and wellmade The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, dishes and flatware, an Instapot, rice cooker, Keurig and coffee maker. Thank you for sharing your home with our family."
