"We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. "Amazing venue - access to the Abbey and surrounds until Midnight each day meant visiting in splendid isolation. However the hotel has no air conditioning, and the temperatures were consistently above 37 deg celsius during our stay. The staff did their best with fans and asking everyone to close their shutters all day, but it is a challenge and one which is only likely to get worse with global warming."
