"Perfect, don’t bother looking anywhere else. The rooms are spacious & brand new. They have a kitchen, washing machine & dishwasher. The beds are comfortable, everything is exceptionally clean and the luxury of drinking a filter coffee whilst doing the washing was bliss. The owners are wonderful and kindly gave us an airer to dry our washing which I prefer to use instead of the dryer. I had a wonderful time and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Free parking too. Thank you for such an amazing stay. "

"Great place to sleep and drive to other attractions. The town itself didn’t have a lot to do, but it did have a decent sized shopping centre and restaurant hub. Staff cleaned room daily, and check in/out process was easy. Nice to have a kitchenette and private washroom in our room."

"This motel is a good example of solid New Zealand accommodation - a classic lodge with good kitchen amenities, a comfortable room, and plenty of parking. The motel is set back from town, and while the car park is modest there are plenty of e-bikes to rent."

"My husband and I had a magical night at the lodge. The attention to detail started the moment we stepped in with welcome drinks (non-alcoholic option available) and handmade chocolates in the shape of rocks. The view outside our room was out of this world. The dinner (included in our room rate) was world class - inventive and high quality ingredients. The breakfast the next morning had several options to choose from. One of our most special stays!"
