"I've been several times to this hotel and have found it to be consistently good and good value. I'd say the same this time except that the bedroom was incredibly warm and even with the window open nothing relieved it. A fan was provided and then another but it did little to reduce the heat. Also, there was a winter duvet on the bed and I spent 3 nights sleeping on top of the bed. I want to repeat that the hotel is really very good and the staff are fantastic. It just left me feeling a little disappointed this time."

"Great property! Wonderful views, well appointed, great location, and excellent communication. It’s a laid back area. There are a couple of touristy things to do, but this is a wonderful vacation for walks on the beach, beautiful drives, and yummy pub food."

"The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is a lovely old mansion style on the top of the hill, overlooking Westport and Clew Bay. The views from the dining room were beautiful. The pool and steam rooms were very nice. It's a 15 minute walk, down the hill, into the centre of town."
