Stay in Bemus Point
We visited to observe the solar eclipse. What a great experience, and Debra and Rick's house is wonderful. They are great hosts too! Built over 100 years ago, but you would never know that about their home. Completely renovated, with all modern amenities, but still retaining a wonderful charm with elements such as tall ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and wonderful wooden trim! Location is great too! It's right on Main Street and within easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, bars and Chautauqua Lake. My wife and I have already decided that we will return!

We had a perfect one night stay in this beautiful home. We had one day to ski at Peek n Peak and this home provided a perfect spot to relax, make a big breakfast and get on our way! I’d definitely stay again!!

A charming property for our weekend getaway
A comfortable house with plenty of space for our crew of five, each in their own bedroom with quality beds. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and serveware. The host was very responsive when we arrived and found one of the smoke detectors beeping due to a low battery. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy comfortable overnight stay
We only needed a one night stay but could have easily stayed more nights - it is such a wonderful home. Cozy, spacious, with all the amenities. We can only imagine how prime a spot this house location is during the busy summer season.

Practically Perfect!!
We stayed at the Resort over Thanksgiving weekend, and it was such a great stay! It was definitely one of the best rental experiences we have had. The house was generously prepared for our stay--exceptionally clean, comfortable, spacious, beautiful, with all of the things we needed--a well-out-fitted kitchen, etc. The owners were so friendly and immediately responsive to any questions we had. I loved the little baskets they provided for everyone's toiletries--it was such a nice touch, one I have never seen before. There were hooks on the backs of all the doors, what might have been nice was towel racks in the room, but that is not a complaint. My only other slight critique would be that the seating in the living room was a little limited for a house that accommodates so many people. Our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend the house! (Oh, the location was also great, despite being terrified at one point by the local firehouse siren going off nearby. Great walking access in and around the village. I hope one day to visit in slightly more seasonable weather!)

Couldn't ask for a better location. House was fully stocked. Didn't want for anything. Especially liked the toiletry baskets! Everyone had their own basket to take to the bathroom with them when showering. Plenty of room for everyone. Appreciated the big kitchen table.

Amazing hosts and an absolutely beautiful house! Had everything we needed. Love Bemus Point, such a quaint little town. The town has a taste of everything, a small grocery store, cafe, brewery, artsy stores. An AMAZING long weekend in the books for 2023. Debra was very helpful with any additional needs. Thank you for sharing this incredible home and being such nice hosts. We understand now why you are considered Superhosts...very appropriate.

This property was so charming and in the most beautiful location. The house was perfect for my large family and provided so much space for us. Everything was immaculate from top to bottom, and we felt so comfortable there. We didn't want to leave because we felt like we were at home. The house has so many options nearby to just take a short stroll up the block and everything is just right there. It was the perfect getaway, and we would definitely like to return. The property owners added some nice touches to our stay, and they are very accommodating as well. It is well worth a stay!!!

Great stay
The house had everything you could need and was located at the heart of bemus point. We hung out on the porch most nights while the kids played in the yard and walked to coffee, ice cream, and live music. We plan to come back!

A Bemus Point Walkable
This house is beautiful and is spotlessly clean. We would not hesitate to use any of the things supplied in the house. The teens liked the bikes, and the proximity to the grocery store and ice cream! Restaurants, playground and basketball, tennis and pickle ball courts are also walkable . There is a nice fire pit and seating area , as well as a nice porch.

Picture-perfect home near the lake
We had a great time in Bemus Point. This big, Victorian home is in immaculate condition. It's a few blocks from the lake and just steps from the lively downtown scene with restaurants, shops, boutiques, etc. There's even a nice yard that we played football and lacrosse on. You'll love it here. Charming lake town.

Great Place for Extended (or large) Families
The property is lovely - landscaping included. The home is quaint with amazing woodwork. It was very clean with an updated well stocked kitchen. Five bedrooms (four on the second floor) made this home quite comfortable as each room was equipped with a comfortable queen/king bed. One bedroom on the first floor was perfect for the great-grandparents in our group : ). We did not have children in the home with us but the home was stocked with indoor/outdoor games including bicycles and outdoor areas for relaxing and visiting with friends/family. Plenty of parking. And great location which allowed us to "people watch" all of the folks visiting downtown Bemus Point. Highly recommend!

Just as promised, The Resort On Main, had the perfect location, was extremely clean, and provided everything needed for a wonderful week in Bemus Point. Centrally located, it was easy to walk to the playgrounds, restaurants, and the lake in just a few minutes. Both Debra and Johanna were quick to respond when I had a question and were eager to make our stay enjoyable.

Wonderful House on Main!
This was our 2nd time staying at this lovely home. Location is great for walking to boat dock or dinner or out for drinks! House is fully stocked with basics - brought items I did not need. Also has beach towels, games, fire pit, etc. Very comfortable for family of 10 with convenient first floor bedroom. Highly recommend this house for a visit to Bemus Point!

Annual Visit to Chataqua
The property had all of the comforts of home. We brought way too much with us because it was already there ie: umbrella's, cleaning supplies for sinks etc. We got there a little early and saw the house keeper actually pressure washing the porch! It was meticulous at every turn! There were only four or us and we struggled to decide which room we wanted to stay in because they were all very nice. I plan to book the property for next year.

Rick and Debra are excellent hosts. They provided everything we needed and so many extras. All the little things I wish so many other places would have thought of. The house is beautiful and clean. Beds comfortable. The location is just steps to the lake, shops and restaurants. We would love to come back next year.

Six of us used the Resort on Main as our base in order to complete the WNY Winter Hiking Challenge. The house had everything we needed and was very charming but also had an updated kitchen and bathrooms. We would love to come back during the summer season.

The Owner ensured our stay was memorable & was available for questions during our stay. Our group of Girlfriends (most over 50) enjoyed this beautifully appointed house that had it all, was close to Rodger Tory Institute, hiking trails & wineries. We walked around beautiful Bemus Point & even attended church next door to the rental. We loved the rental! It had plenty of space to accommodate the ten of us and we celebrated our 28th year of friendship, love & laughter! Thanks for everything!!

Love Bemus!
This is a very spacious house located directly on Main Street in Bemus and close to everything that the town has to offer. It was snowing and the driveway was well maintained, and the house heated up very well. All the amenities were great, and we had a very comfortable stay. Thanks to the host for the prompt communication through our whole stay, any questions were answered very quickly and that was very helpful. All and all it was a great trip and a great place to stay, highly recommend.

Great town and lovely home.
The owners of this house take pride in this lovely Victorian style home. It is spacious and so well equipped. They have thought so many things. We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend. Took advantage of the fire pit two nights and also enjoyed dinner on the porch. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful house in a cute town
The house was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities We had a great friends and family weekend! We loved hanging out in the big kitchen and front porch. Short walk to town where there’s some shops and Ellicottville brewery right on the beautiful lake.

Booked this property for 2 nights for 9 adults to stay to celebrate an anniversary (Ellicottville Brewery in Bemus Pt on Fri) and a wedding (ceremony in Bemus Pt and reception in Celeron on Sat). Super charming, clean & comfortable. Bedroom & bath (with walk-in shower) on the main floor worked out great for the 80-something couple in our group. All bedrooms had comfy beds & pillows and there was plenty of space to sit & visit between activities. Owners were responsive to our inquiries and take great care of the property. Highly recommend!
