Our room was a bit of hike up the stairs and no a/c, but it was a cute room and we were offered a fan to help beat the heat. Very nice staff and great location, the restaurant attached to the hotel is a must eat, best gnocchi I have ever had and our waitress Sheila was absolutely lovely.

Beautiful city and great location. Nice quaint hotel. Able to use city buses to downtown area. Finding parking could be an issue depending on the time of day.

The location was fantastic, only a few minutes from the train station. Surprisingly quiet with my window directly facing the train tracks. It was very clean, quiet and well kept. Automated check in was great and I never needed to contact the staff, other than to get my Ticino Ticket emailed to me. Make sure to use the Ticino discount Ticket at almost any attraction, and all public transit in the Canton. Big news for cat lovers, there is a shy but friendly long hair tabby in the area that wonders around, always a bonus!

"We had a great time staying at this hotel. We took the bus right outside the hotel to the city center, which was so easy to get to. The rooms were nice and clean, and the view of the mountain was just amazing."

"An amazing view and a brilliant hotel. They gave us two connecting rooms for our family of 4 and it was a lot of room. No air conditioning which meant it was hot but they provided fans. "The staff at this hotel were excellent. Having two pools was a bonus as you could use the indoor pool when the outdoor pool was busy. The absence of a bar was a slight disappointment and the rooms were small even by European norms. Dated TVs meant no connectivity of maps.... but who goes on holiday ..."
