"Comparing this to the Maldives - All inclusive isn’t the best deal as you only get 30% off restaurants and menus outside the standard AI - Beaches are beautiful but public so expect to be hassled by locals selling things - Staff need training, not overly attentive and when making a complaint - not hugely responsive It’s a lovely hotel, beautiful setting but food options are limited in my opinion (even the truck for street food is very very greasy and unhealthy) *"

"The staff were amazing and very helpful especially with my son who has severe learning disabilities and is nonverbal. They accommodated each and every request for him which made such a difference for us. Such a welcoming and inclusive hotel and staff. The team at the Palm Court restaurant for breakfast and dinner were beyond brilliant - managing our timings and needs for him on demand. 10000% brilliant, cannot wait to come back! "I couldn’t fault the Salt of Palmar Hotel. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent quality and cooked to order. I would recommend the all inclusive option as not so many other options nearby. Very good coffee also. The location is on the East coast, so a bit windier. We took a few snorkelling trips on the hotel’s boat, which was amazing. We stayed 2 weeks and took some days out to tour the island, lots of trips/tours available. The room looked directly out onto the Ocean with waves breaking on the reef. Quiet surroundings and very safe environment. Would 100 % recommend "

"Beautiful setting and landscaping. Staff are brilliant, friendly and attentive and not in your face. Spa was great. Recommend ‘water shoes’ for the beach as it’s a coral beach, it’s beautiful, the shoes will enhance the experience "

"Roons are very clean. If any little thing is wrong it is corrected straight away by housekeeping. Staff in the restaurant are welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Excellent spa, great masseurs Neehar and others. The hotel could think about updating showers and some towels are no longer brilliant white, bit grey, but very clean. The water taxi was not available one day as it was being serviced there is a bridge open in the day by the aquarium. "

"We had the most wonderful stay at Long Beach Resort! The staff went above and beyond – they were always so friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Our family suite was absolutely beautiful – spotless, spacious, and perfectly designed for a family stay. The resort itself was immaculate, with every facility kept clean and well-maintained. A highlight for our children was the Kids Club – they absolutely loved it! The staff there were warm, welcoming, and so attentive to the kids. Dining at the resort was another incredible experience. Every restaurant we tried offered delicious food with a great variety, making every meal something to look forward to. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. Everything was perfect, and we truly cannot wait to come back again. Highly recommend Long Beach to anyone looking for a beautiful, family-friendly resort with top-notch service."

"I had a wonderful experience at Solana Beach. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — they made me feel at home straight away. The hotel surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade, and I was blown away by how spacious and comfortable the room was. It had everything I needed and more, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy my stay. The pool area is a highlight — large, clean, and with a perfect atmosphere whether you want to chill out with a cocktail or go for a proper swim. Food-wise, Solana delivers. The restaurant options are varied, with something for everyone, and the quality was consistently excellent. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always a fresh and tasty choice. Overall, Solana Beach gave me the mix of relaxation, service, and quality that makes for a truly memorable holiday. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius — and I’d definitely return!"
