Private Chalet with Sauna, Minutes to Skiing/Golf

A spacious, beautifully decorated retreat designed for comfort and luxury, this home has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. And, the Treehouse is Pet-friendly!

The Treehouse sleeps 8+ comfortably and offers a full kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea, two full bathrooms, comfy bedrooms, and a spacious rec room with a pool table and old school video games. A large deck with a Finnish barrel sauna is also yours to enjoy. We have in house laundry facilities, and a pack n play type crib are also included.

Cozy up by the fireplace, prepare gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or unwind in the sauna while overlooking the peaceful wooded surroundings. Spend your days skiing nearby slopes in winter or soaking up the summer sun with family, take a dip in the indoor pool at Shanty Creek, tee off at some of the most scenic golf courses in the state - then return home to relax and recharge. With access to resort pools, beaches, and top-rated golf courses, your stay at The Treehouse offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation—no matter the season.

The “Kingdom of Schuss” is a paradise for skiers, snowboarders, and winter sports enthusiasts of all levels. Schuss Mountain offers a variety of winter activities for all ages. Explore the peaceful forests on cross-country skis or snowshoes, take the kids tubing, or take a thrilling ride on a Fat Mountain Bikes through the snow-covered terrain. After a day of fun, relax and warm up at the Treehouse, where you can gather around the fireplace and enjoy the company of friends and family.

The Bellaire area offers access to hundreds of attractions. Shanty Creek boasts five championship golf courses: Cedar River (Weiskopf), The Legend (Palmer), Schuss Mountain Course, Summit Course and Hawkseye. In addition, other excellent courses like The Chief are conveniently located nearby. Take a short trip to Lake Bellaire, Torch Lake, or Grand Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan for swimming or boating, or enjoy a nice, relaxing canoe ride down the Jordan river. This property is perfect for a family with teens or young adults. With a family room, pool table, and 2 bedrooms on one floor for the kids. Then another family room, dining room, kitchen, and one bedroom. Very close to the ski hill with a nice pool and hot tub.

Perfect cabin in the woods for whole family with room to spare

This property was just perfect for our family getaway. Close to the slopes and Bellaire for fun but a wonderful house to come back to and rest up! We really loved the indoor and outdoor fire pits!

Great weekend get away

The house was perfect for our family of 4 for a relaxing and cozy weekend getaway. It was very clean, and had all the essentials. We loved the fireplace, pool table and Atari. Great hiking and carry-out options nearby as well.
