Great Location For Ski / Tubing at Shanty Creek Resorts!

With a short walk to The Lakeview Hotel and Summit tubing park, or 3-mile drive to the Schuss slopes, this 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condominium is conveniently located to all the amenities at Shanty Creek Resorts. Comfortable, quiet and spacious accommodations with stone fireplace, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and heated tile in both baths, king bed in both bedrooms, full living room and in-unit laundry (great for drying that outer wear after a day on the slopes). Accommodates up to 8 guests.

Guests are welcome to use the indoor pool at The Lakeview. Access to the cross country trails is just across the street. Save some energy for an awesome sledding hill just off of the back deck.

At Shanty Creek Resorts you are 2 miles from downtown Bellaire and Short’s Brewery, 45 - 50 minutes to Traverse City, Petoskey or Gaylord! Truly a convenient location to take in so many great destinations in northern Michigan.

Note: While this unit is on the lower level, The Legend Cottages are built in to the side of a hill. All guests should be comfortable navigating 1 1/2 flights of stairs to reach the entry.

Great Place to Stay!

We really liked the condo - it was perfect for a weekend stay with my wife, daughter, and parents. Scenery was nice, with plenty of deer in the fairway. Mike was great with communication. Would stay here again

Spacious and good location. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Carpet was outdated and near bathrooms but clean enough, whirlpool tub, washer/dryer a plus, quiet, and great views. Suggest bringing more towels (and for pool) and your own coffee. Would definitely stay here again, great price for everything you get.

Had a code that didn’t work, so couldn’t access the unit for the first 2 hours, but problem was remedied quickly. Unit had everything we needed and was a great space for a family or 2! Great location!

Very nice condo. Loved sitting on the large deck overlooking the first hole of the Legend. Only bad comment would be that the carpeting could use a cleaning. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Away

We stayed at the Legends Inn Cottage for a family weekend getaway to see the fall colors. Although it rained a lot, the cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our two boys, ages 15 and 1. The views from the balcony are stunning and the conveniences of being in the Shanty Creek Resort were great. We swam in the indoor pool and enjoyed the breakfast buffet and coffee bar inside of the hotel. We had plenty of space inside the unit and check in/out was very easy. Would highly recommend. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

What a great place for two couples -- two separate suites w/ bathrooms and a wonderful living room & kitchen in the middle. The amazing view and huge wrap-around porch was unexpected. We wished the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the rocking chairs. As it was, we cozied up to the fireplace and enjoyed chatting in the toasty gathering area. This place is SO quiet. You don't hear the neighbors at all. You can watch people playing golf down below but even that is very quiet. Highly recommend!

Our favorite place

This is our third time staying here and we decided to stay for three weeks this time. Mike is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The unit and itself provides our family (parents and an 8 and 9 year old) enough to make all sorts of meals, have enough space to still enjoy each other after 3 weeks, and not miss home at all. We stay pretty active and the pickleball court, practice putting green, and disc golf course (all a short hilly walk away) are really convenient. We were even able to walk to The Nest, a restaurant down the hill, and Shanty Town restaurants up the hill for dinners so we didn’t have to drive. There were plenty of times when we had the Legends pool to ourselves, but also enjoyed using the other pool options this rental provides. The beach club has so much to offer from a playground, sports equipment, clean bathrooms near the beach to gas grills for beachside dinners. The town of Bellaire isn’t very big but offers everything from a toy store, restaurants, drinking establishments, clothes/souvenir shops, ice cream, coffee shop, and grocery stores. It’s also located close enough to do day trips to Sleeping Bear or Mackinac and all the other great towns Up North. We would love to buy property near here, but until then, we’ll continue to rent the Legends Cottage. Hopefully, we can visit during fall or winter to see the area in a new season and experience all that it has to offer. You won’t go wrong with this rental.
