This place was perfect for our group I really liked the split A/C system and the location to the public boat launch. Everyone commented it was perfect bfor a weekend get away.

Annual Family Ski Trip

This is a fantastic house to stay in during your vacation to the Shanty Creek area. It’s clean, spacious, and has a well stocked kitchen. We were in want of nothing! Kathy Mantey is a fantastic hostess, and a great communicator. Our family would love to return to this home next year.

Gorgeous Home

This was a gorgeous home in a beautiful nature setting. We saw multiple deer right from the deck. Great size house for our large family. The second living room with kitchenette really came in handy. You just can't beat having three bathrooms. Awesome kitchen too. We all had a blast. Will definitely stay here again.

Bringing friends together

It was a great place for 6 teens to hang out together making memories. They used the entry level with lots of beds, full bathroom, mini fridge, sink, TV, and washer/dryer. With three more bedrooms and 2 more full bathrooms on the main and 3rd floor the adults had room to relax. Bonus set of washer dryer on main floor and wonderful views of the property from the great room. Had a great time, thanks.

Comfy chalet

Great home to relax before and after the slopes!! So close to skiing and snowboarding! Nice grocery store close for extras and of course Shorts is just down the road!! Host answered any questions right away. In this day and age you want to feel safe in your rental and we did!!

Beautiful woodland home.

The property owners were very understanding and supportive, regarding our experience. The house had everything, including a backup generator that came inn handy. If you like seeing deer and turkeys outside the the kitchen window, this the place for you. Thank you Manteys...

Christmas ski weekend

We brought our adult kids here to ski for a Christmas family gift. The accommodations were exactly what we wanted. We had plenty of room for married kids and single kids and kids under 2. Kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. The only thing we could not control was the weather. Skiing was not great, warm and rainy but some skiing and swimming and playing games at the house still made the time a success.

Very well maintained property. Had everything we needed for our summer vacation. Lots of room for everyone. The kids loved the pool at the resort and then also the beaches. The adults enjoyed playing pickleball and visiting Short's and Bee Well Mead & Cider. Close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Annual Michigan Summer Vacation

Fun for all

Around the corner from Shanty Creek. Use of the Lakeview Hotel pool and hot tub was a hit. Tubing was also fun for all.
