Come Experience Riverside - A Cozy Cottage with Beautiful Pamlico River Views

"This wonderful clean safe home had original character with all the modern touches .We were greeted with a handwritten note, drinks/snacks basket and a very thought out binder with all info needed as well as a a message to make sure we got there ok and to let them know if we needed anything. The host was very prompt, accommodating and attentive and thought of all the extras (forget something drawer-toiletries, firewood, a fully stocked detailed coffee bar, sunscreen, and spices). They provided linens and towels, full length mirror, hairdryer, make up remover towels,as well as baby equipment. We enjoyed lots of activities like swimming, crabbing, bird watching, sunbathing, fishing (caught speckled trout and founder), kayaking(kayaks and life fest provided), enjoying s’mores on the fire pit, relaxing in jetted bathtub, settling down with a glass of wine, watching sunrise with morning coffee, unwinding at sunset in rocking chairs and enjoying hot chocolate. Overall this is a truly amazing property and greatly appreciate the opportunity to stay there, my guess is we will be back. Also I would not have complained if it rained while we were there- I would have loved to hear the rain on the tin roof."

"This was our third day for what has become our annual girls retreat getaway. We love the wide open space both indoors and outside. We swam in the lake and enjoyed the very long, super sturdy dock with fishing on the end of the pier. Nikki and Joe have thought of everything. Even a place to wash your fishing gear at the end of the pier. The home is extremely well stocked and you won’t need for anything. The refrigerator even has an awesome coffee pod Maker. And plenty of cooking implement for anything you could possibly imagine. I’m always impressed by the high-quality towels, bedsheets, dishware, plastic storage and glass storage items. They have thought of everything. Lastly, we thoroughly enjoyed playing games in the beautiful glass in rear porch or swinging on the lovely swing in that porch area also. We will be back here after here as this is our favorite home away from home each autumn. Thanks for another wonderful day.!!"

"I wish I had the money to buy this place it's exactly what I want! We had such a great time this weekend staying in the area, Great water pressure #1.. very clean and comfortable beds, had everything you needed. Did not see any bears or deer unfortunately. Arrived an hour early and Leah was kind enough to let us check in early after an 8 hour drive which we really appreciate as well as some home made banana bread. Will definitely keep it in mind if we're ever in need to stay in the area again."

"Without a doubt, the most magical little cottage and its surroundings of the deck and long dock that leads to a solitude to sit, fish, star gaze that I've stayed at in a long, long time. Not only are the outside amenities peaceful, but the interior of this cottage is decorated with calming colors and perfectly placed designs. Oh, and this cottage has everything you could think of at your fingertips! I would see something and think, who would add this to a vacation rental! Plus, a vast variety of coffees and teas, only thing, no Keurig! I did bring my own. Very clean!The blessing of this cute cottage is the owners and Darry's mom, Julia. A 90-year-old bundle of spit and vinegar, lovely lady from the UK. Such a sweetheart!Bath, NC, I found, is not populated by tourist attractions and there are only 3 restaurants in this small quaint town, but it is a very historical town being the 1st port and 1st town in NC. The Outer Banks is only an hour drive. For me and my Chihuahua, Eza, (yes, they allow dogs), it was the perfect!"

"The place is awesome and just what you need it to relax and get away from it all. Secluded and private right on the water. All the amenities you’d need are provided. Work remote or relax, you can do both. The kitchen is spacious and nice to cook in. Rooms are also spacious. Several hang out spots to chill. Forget about the world while you’re there and wish you had a couple extra days to stay."

"Property exceeded expectations, beautiful secluded area. Proximity for fishing was excellent with quick and easy access to the Pungo and Pamlico River as well as the Pamlico Sound! Just a short boat ride to Belhaven! Would highly recommend for a small group looking a nice scenic get away!"
