We had booked this Vrbo in march 2024 for a trip in June 2024, after many weeks of research we finally settled on this property. property listed a washing and drying machine , it had plenty of room for my children, with tvs ( cable included) , AC and even a hot tub/ spa whirlpool listed. Boy was it a mistake. First off the communication with the host is terrible or non existent. She sent us directions to get into the building but she forgot to mention that the keys are also a fob to the front door of the building . We had no way of contacting her and sat outside for hours. After finally getting in thanks to a stranger who held the door open to us, the place itself was a total misrepresentation of the listing. There was no washer and dryer (just dryer) , no spa, no whirlpool, the tvs were all plugged out of the walls- plugged them in but no cable- no ac except for one room. When we wrote to the host she confirmed that it didn’t have those things but that “it was a mistake as she wasn’t aware that’s what the listing said” for 2 days she sent her husband in to try and fix the tvs , with no avail. Finally the cherry on top of all this was that this place was filthy dirty. The couch has horrible stains that i was afraid for my kids, we pulled out the extra duvets to put over the couches but they had pee stains on them, the counters weren’t wiped down, the fridge smelled, dust everywhere, chairs were stained. This host needs to fix these things in order for others to stay there .
