"The room was clean and well-equipped with quality products like Rituals shower gel. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. The location is great, with a few free parking spots available on a first-come, first-served basis and plenty of free street parking nearby. The only minor downside was the lack of complimentary coffee or tea in the room, which we’ve usually had in other hotels across Europe and Asia. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service."

10/10 Excellent

"Our children absolutely loved the pool - it was lovely and warm to get into and wasn’t deep. The room was great and we loved watching the ships come in to port from the balcony and spent a lot of time sat in the sunshine watching them come and go. The room itself was comfortable (a little dusty) but the air-con was a god send, as we were there on a particularly hot weekend. We throughly enjoyed our time here and was the perfect base to travel to all the surrounding towns and cities. (The next bit is not an issue with the hotel itself which is why I have put it in brackets and not marked my review down but a small note to visitors thinking of using the restaurant in the Ibis hotel next door - it was extremely slow service on the evening we went. Waited quite some time for our meals and they forgot my youngest sons, we mentioned it to the waiter and he said he will bring it out - it took an extra hour and a half by the time we received them it was his bedtime and the staff were not apologetic at all - we were met with Belgium fries take longer)"

"Clearly newer buildings, decent room sizes (we had family suite with balcony), and we had most of what we needed. With a few exceptions (see below), it was perfect I’m surprised there was no kitchenette for our room type, but since we only stayed one night, it’s ok. Unfortunately, the heat wave was upon us, and there is no AC. Yes, there is a breeze, but it doesn’t exactly help after temps hit 27c+. Easy fix would have been to include anti-slip in the shower area, and a handle bar. 24€ breakfast seems a little on the high end, but that seems to be the norm around these parts."

"The room was exactly like the picture on the website when we reserved. It was the perfect getaway weekend at the beach. The breakfast buffet is incredible and absolutely worth adding it to your room rate. The only thing missing for us was for the staff to be a touch more attentive when you walk by, just to feel noticed since it is a 4 star property. But overall we can highly recommend it and are looking forward to returning."

"Bedroom was clean and comfortable, only issue was a weak shower. Hotel clean throughout. Hotel has limited parking for smaller cars, cannot accommodate larger vehicles (Land Rover size), so had to park on street using app and remembering to renew every 4 hrs. We paid for buffet breakfast, it was very good with a varied selection and good quality. Hotel is in a good location."

"Excellent apartment unit in pristine condition Everything you need including fridge/freezer, cooker, kettle etc. I was visiting with my 2 young kids as a single mom and they loved it. It's similar to a haven caravan type offer. Only things I'd improve was if beds were made for arrival and some bits were missing from the play area zone such as table tennis pads and balls so you couldn't use the equipment. However my kids loved the play area, swings and there was a permanent bouncy castle too. Swimming pool was an awesome addition just inside the Ibis hotel. We went at 8am and had it to ourselves for nearly an hour. I'd definitely stay here again for a prolonged period of time. It just requires to go prepared IE.same as Havens in the UK you need to take washing up equipment, soap, dishwasher tablets etc. obvs if this is a surprise on arrival it's annoying to go out and buy. But the listing does tell you everything you need to know. You also get supplied with a dishcloth and 1 dishwasher tablet, washing up liquid, which did us for our overnight stay. Overall, excellent accommodation especially with children. We will definitely return if in the area. Also loved going for a short walk to the local cemetery which has war graves and is nice and peaceful. Only other issue we had was I couldn't get through on the provided number to contact help. But I think that's because I don't know how to dial when abroad!"
