Cabins by the Creek is a veteran-owned and operated company specializing in short-term vacation home rentals nestled along the banks of the creek, 5 minutes from the Hatfield McCoy Trail# 10 Entrance. Our mission is to host properties that can create those memorable experiences that people seek out while visiting one of the most beautiful and scenic areas of Kentucky and West Virginia in the Appalachian Mountains.

Cabins by the Creek is located in Pike County, Kentucky along the Tug Fork of the Big Sandy River home to the McCoy side of the Hatfield McCoy Feud that began in 1863. We are proud supporters of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails, which emerged in the early 2000s. The trail system is a 700-mile all-terrain vehicle trail system twisted around the theme of the historic feud. Our properties are located approximately 2.6 miles from Williamson, West Virginia, often referred to as the gateway to the Hatfield McCoy trails and beyond!

The City of Williamson known to many as the “Heart of the Billion Dollar Coalfield” is also well-known for its annual springtime off-road trail riding festival known as “Dirt Days.” Williamson is connected to the Buffalo Mountain, Devil Anse and Rockhouse trail systems, all of which are accessible from the communities of Delbarton, Matewan, Gilbert and Man. Williamson is an ATV friendly community where you can ride ATVs, dirt bikes, and UTVs from daylight to dark within the city limits. You can relax and grab a bite to eat and experience true Sothern Hospitality!
