My daughter has been struggling with health issues for 8 months.She is getting ready for surgery and we needed a getaway where she could just rest. This place was perfect.From the moment you walk in you can tell this place is designed with relaxation in mind.The bottom floor is truly geared towards kids, us adult kids too , with the shuffleboard, arcade games and tv. There is even a little reading nook with games, books and puzzles.The second floor is amazing. The pictures don't even do it justice.There are windows everywhere.We mainly stayed on the deck or sat inside with the 2 sets of folding doors open. We watched seals, otters floating on their back while eating, even saw a family of orcas. ( which is very rare)The beds were wonderful even the Murphy bed downstairs.I felt like I was at a 5 star hotel. It wasn't the Caribbean but it sure brought out the best of the sound. I've been born and raised here and I can tell you this rental is at the top of our list.Food, stores etc are generally 15-30 minutes away. If you don't mind a drive Oak table is wonderful. We didn't get to eat at Burger Claims and more this time but they are good as well. We have a Westside pizza at home and they are great too if you want pizza.Our fav for coffee was mixed. I loved Urban coffee, my daughter liked Belfair Grounds, and we liked Christeen’s too.We didn’t want to leave… until next time.
