Highwater Inn is conveniently located in Mullens just a little over one mile from the Hatfield-McCoy trail system and the newly constructed Coal Fields Expressway. Hatfield and McCoys trip

A good place to stay that is close to the trail. Location in covenant for food and gas. Parking is great for loading and unloading trailers.

Great stay!

My family and I had a great stay. It was a very convenient location to the Pinnacle trail head. There was a gas station down the road and a few restaurants/bars within walking distance. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable, overall we had a great stay. Kevin was very responsive and answered all my questions within 24hrs. 🙂 Just some FYIs that are left out of the listing, but not deal breakers for some: -there is no access to the downstairs from the top floor, you have to go outside and around to the door. -there is not a full set of silverware/no hot pads.

Excellent property and location

Excellent location for riding Pinnacle Creek. Property well kept and very clean. Plenty of sleeping room for all 8 of us. Great parking. Host communicated very well and was very helpful. Walking distance to town for dinner and shopping. Festival in town was a bonus and the fireworks Saturday night were the whipped cream on top:). Would absolutely stay again. Thanks for a great weekend of riding!!! Love HMT.

Great spot

The owner was happily willing to work with us and adjust when we had to make last minute travel plan changes because of a snowstorm. We would gladly stay here again.
