Room phone didn’t work, toilet seat was broken, sheets were rough, breakfast food that was supposed to be warm was cold. All that aside, I felt safe (woman, traveling alone) and the staffs were friendly. The property and room was very clean, but the smell of bleach was a bit overpowering. Having said all this, I would stay there again.

Just adequate. Our toilet took 30 minutes to refill making it useless – had to rely on manually filling it up with water from containers so mainly used public restroom downstairs. It was clearly rigged; the inside mechanics of the toilet have plastic patch jobs on it. The only ice machine didn't work and seemed to not work for a long time because it was bone dry. Thin walls. Could hear people in hallway easily. Otherwise the hotel was clean and breakfast good.

Independently owned by a nice family. They and their workers keep the place well cleaned on a daily basis. Small hotel. Two floors. Great place to stay if you need to find a quick place to lay your head while you’re traveling off of I-10.

The common areas were nice. The breakfast was nice. But room 114 had major issues in the bathroom. The door was damaged and wouldn’t shut. The bath tub stopper did not work. Several cracks in tub and sink.

We stayed for three nights. Checking in went smooth. We get into the room and the strong moldy, awful smell hit us immediately. We drove several hours, we just wanted to sleep. Step into the shower and the ceiling and all around the bathroom was full of mold. I purchased two different odor absorbers, Odoban and Ozone. It didn't help at all, then it rained and made it almost unbearable. The ac barley worked and struggled to cool, so add heat and smell, not a good combination. We had to use the same towels till the last night. We asked for more and they complained. They said housekeeping has to do that and keep up with it. We told them we asked for a room cleaning twice and didn't receive it either time. We had to take our hang up clothes back to our vehicle, due to the smell of the room sticking to everything we had in there. When we put our bags in the car, we had to ride 7 hours with that horrible odor filling it. I am home and I am having to wash, pillows and clothes we didn't even wear. I realize this is not a 4 star hotel, but no business should smell like that or be filled with mold. It was the worst stay my family has had in a long time. We will never use this hotel again. I most certainty do not reccomend. You may ask why we didn't ask for another room, well while they were cleaning, we walked in three different ones, mold and smell in each. What was the point? If mold and a putrid smell doesn't bother you, by all means, book it!!

The thing that I noticed is that the sheets were so worn they seemed like flannel sheets. Front desk changed my room but said a lot of workers stay there so that could be reason for the worn sheets. The second room sheets were not as bad.
