The Bird's Nest

Though the Bird's Nest is designed for two people in one bed we know that sometimes families or groups need an extra bed... we can be flexible. Extra guest (up to two) are no charge. Please keep in mind that check-out is 11AM unless allowances are made in advance.

An Acre and a Half of Park-like grounds. Tucked into the pines on a dead end road, which borders protected the land of one of the Lowcountry's oldest plantations. Private, Quiet, and Beautiful. CHOOSE YOUR BED TYPE: Firm (Mattress with Linens), Moderate: (Mattress with Memory Foam Topper and Linens) Soft: (Mattress with Memory Foam Topper, plus Feather Bed and Linens) .

Completely Private from Main House with Separate Entrance. Bring your boat... Just a mile to the River Boat Launch. Nearly a Third of the First Floor is available for Guests.

Cute Birdhouse

The Birdhouse was perfect for our weekend trip to visit family! Even in very cold weather, it was comfortable and cozy! We would stay here again. Christina had treats for our dog!

Perfect pit stop for the night on our way home.

A perfect little spot to rest for the night. Incredibly clean and quaint. A muffin and yogurt before the road was a really thoughtful touch. We couldn't have asked for a better host.

This is a perfect little get-away if you want the privacy that you cannot get at a hotel but still be near downtown Beaufort. Christine is so friendly and welcoming. My daughter and I appreciated the personal touches and homey feel.

Very nice stay!

Christine's place was very quiet, comfortable and conveniently located. Other than not having a full-sized fridge/freezer it was well-furnished and Christine even supplied some fruit, muffins, snacks and yogurt! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Beaufort area. Thanks Christine!

Very clean home. Very nice host.

Very clean. Had a ton of toiletries. Very nice host. Clean sheets and towels. Very sweet to offer dog treats and a doggie dish. The vrbo is next to a street so if you have a dog, keep it on a leash or perhaps the yard could have a fenced in area for the guests in the future. The vrbo is connected to the owner's house. Overall, very happy and would stay there again.

Perfect "nest"

A great quiet comfortable location with a large yard for dogs to enjoy. Located midway between Beaufort, Port Royal, Hunting Island so it is easy to get everywhere. Beautifully decorated with lots of extras, especially chocolate chip muffins!

Never Disappoints

Our third stay with Christine and once again her little “Wren’s Nest” did not disappoint. She makes sure that you have everything that you could possibly need. Very quiet other than a crowing rooster and assorted woodpeckers, squirrels and rabbits.

Quiet and cozy

Great host and clean accommodations on a quiet dead-end circle. Extras like doggy and human treats were a nice touch. Good proximity between our day trips of Port Royal and Beaufort. The bed was not comfortable for me as I require a firm mattress and am used to a king. So I slept on the sofa the 2nd night but it was kind of nice lying there seeing the tall trees in the moonlight & listening to the hoot owls.

Second visit…same result

This was our second stay with Christine and nothing has changed-just excellent. It’s not large, but it is the perfect size for us two and our two miniature poodles. The location is quiet, yet convenient to Beaufort and Hunting Island. Christine is there if you need her, but she allows complete privacy. A Publix is near, but she has provided all that you need. Highly recommend

Cozy and Caring

Christine greeted us warmly at the door.We had our small dog with us, who was suffering with severe allergies amongst other ailments.She put out her dog bowls for food and water and said she would listen for her while we were out.Very comfortable , quiet , clean, and convenient.

Visit family who opened a business

I have never stayed in a more stocked and well furnished efficiency apt including a Marriott or Hilton property. My wife and I stayed here for two nights as my son and his wife were opening a business in a downtown location. Their home was only one street over, a convenient location. I give 5 starts to the owner for opening up her home and keeping it so I would return again. Thanks for the large muffins and a stocked frig. It’s a plus plus location.
