Beaufort Inn

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage with our own front and back porch. The bedrooms were decorated with period pieces adding charm and character. The original wood floor and exposed brick in the kitchen also added to its charm and homeyness. The kitchen had several pots and pans and basic cooking items. We have recommended a mixer for those(like us), that do cook while there(a large glass casserole dish would also be a nice addition). We did buy plastic silverware as it currently only has cutlery for 4 people, so you would need to wash this after every meal. We made our own breakfast, but understood breakfast in the main inn was provided! We used the bikes to do some of the Spanish moss trail which we picked up only about 5 minutes from the inn. They also have a card for hunting beach which would normally be $8.00/person to get onto. The beds were very comfortable and ceiling fans were a nice addition in the bedrooms and living room. We would definitely stay here again."

"The staff here go way above and beyond. The place has tons of character and is well adapted with modern amenities. Great location also. We left before we could try the breakfast, but the homemade desserts they put out in the evening were outstanding!"

"Very pretty, convenient location. Beautifully landscaped. Very good breakfast included. The one negative is the ridiculously loud music they play constantly in the lobby and dining area. You can't even have a conversation in normal voices. And the staff repeatedly refused to turn it down."
