Loved the decor of this place! Karen was a great host, very helpful. Location was great for exploring Beaufort and the surrounding locations. If we are back in Beaufort again, this is where we'll stay!
The check in process was smooth, the location was terrific and the cottage was perfect! My wife and I couldn’t have been happier. We’ll definitely stay here again if it’s available when we visit Beaufort again.
Loved the place — very clean , well- appointed, and within walking distance to main part of town on waterfront. Great communication with owner — she was fantastic. Highly recommended.
The cottage was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything you need. We would highly recommend it and would definitely go back again!
Sunshine Cottage is a wonderful place to stay from the decor, location and amenities to the cozy look & feel of each room. Our family stayed the week of Christmas and I was able to cook and bake like I do in my home kitchen. Easy parking in front and loved having Hulu, Max, Peacock and Paramount channels on the TV.
Amazing property with convenient downtown access. Excellent communication with Karen. Amenities were spot on and property had great kitchen and backyard space! Highly recommend.
Our 3rd stay here, visiting from CT, this time with our two adult sons. the cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable for the four of us. Loved exploring the Beaufort area and Hunting Island with the kids. Spent a day in Charleston also, easy ride from the Cottage. I’m sure we will back again in the future.
This lovely renovated and decorated cottage was perfect for my sister and me as we made a short trip to Beaufort. There is nothing not to love about it from the rocking chairs on the porch, new kitchen and baths, and the cozy, comfortable living area. Oh, and the beautiful patio/back yard! For a few days, a week, or a month this is a wonderful home away!
This is our second stay at the Sunshine Cottage, but it won't be our last. The Cottage had everything that my husband and I and our friend, needed. It was very pretty, clean and comfortable, and in a perfect location for exploring Beaufort. Halfway between Savannah and Charleston so we were easily able to explore both those cities too. Communication with owner was excellent! I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed.
This is a good place for groups of 4 or less. Everything was very clean and everything needed was provided. There are no onsite laundry facilities. Owner was very easy to communicate with and responded very promptly to any questions. I would recommend this house and look forward to staying here again should we return to the area. Very quiet neighborhood.
Took a girls trip to Savannah and decided to do a quick overnight in Beaufort. This cute (not so) little cottage was a nice fit for our evening. We only spent one night so didn't get to enjoy much of the house but wish we could've stayed longer! Perfect night in front of the "fireplace" watching Christmas movies. Very nicely preserved and decorated. Everything you need in a rental and more! Close to downtown. Enjoyed the downtown & historic districts. Looking forward to coming back and spending more time!
Very clean. Updated but still with the Southern charm you’d expect. Perfect living space with everything you need to relax. Decorated very nicely, outside area is very pretty and private. Lots of native trees and plants. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy to walk down to Bay Street where you find shops and restaurants. It’s within the historical part of town. Lots of old, big homes and mansions to view while you are walking. About an hour from both Savannah and Charleston. That’s why we stayed there. We ended up enjoying Beaufort and Hunting Island just as much. Would definitely stay here again.
The Cottage is a wonderful place to stay! EVERYTHING you need for a very relaxing stay! INCLUDING Beach pass & chairs! Centrally located- convenient to everything! Host is very responsive. Quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be back!
The cottage is perfect and we hope to stay next year for 4 weeks. Bed comfy , fireplace handy when temps were chilly and everything one would need was provided. Everything great about Beaufort was in walking distance from the cottage. Also we appreciated the parking pass to Hunting Beach. Well worth the trip,
