Dream to “live” in Ireland for 6 weeks
I had always wanted to “live” in the South West of Ireland. To unpack, and take daily adventures from that location. This was a perfect location to fulfill that. It was in between Killarney and Killorglin. Owners Brid and Edward met us and showed us how things worked. They checked in with us occasionally, and were quick to answer any questions that we had. It is very quiet, and in the beginning, I questioned what I done. However, when we realized that, once you leave ANY of the cities, you do get into the narrow, windy roads. The decision one needs to make, is, do you want to stay right in the city where there is traffic, tourists, and quite busy, or to you want stay a little out and have peace, quiet, and able to go into a city. We would come back here again, for sure! We had our kids, my in-laws, my brother and his girlfriend, and golf friend, all at different times. Everyone was quite impressed with the spaciousness. Bedrooms were all nice size, although the king beds were not king by US standards. 5 stars all around!! Thank you, Brid and Edward!! Until we meet again!! Mary and Paul

Lovely place
This made the perfect home base for our family adventures in and around Kerry, with three kids it really makes a difference to have some space to spread out and the kitchen saves a lot of money vs eating at restaurants every night! The owners were communicative, personable and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Family trip
We had a lovely stay in this accommodation. It was clean, spacious and had all the necessary utilities. It is located in a very quiet and beautiful region and yet close to a lot of touristic attractions.

Lovely house in good location for Kerry outings. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts very helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed our family reunion as ideal for children with large garden and plenty of indoor space. Kitchen well equipped.

Home in Beaufort was lovely with all the amenities that we needed. Location was great for seeing the sights of Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, National Park, etc.

Lovely location
Just returned from a week at this location, the property was very spacious and in a quite location. We had everything we needed for our stay and was well located for the places we wanted to visit. Edward and his wife where very friendly and helpful. Would go again.

Best Family Holiday
We had a,wonderful stay in Beaufort. The location and views are amazing. The house itself was lovely, comfortable, clean with all mods needed for a great stay. The area is just beautiful, close enough to killarney for regular visits or Killorglin which spent our nights in the many restaurants. The neighbours were very friendly too . Pictures of the house are 100% accurate and we would happily return again. Local attractions, Beaufort Golf course , Glenbeigh, Rossbeigh Beach, Lake Carragh, all the sites in Killarney are 15 mins away , Carrantohill and the Gap of Dunloe are only mins away. Couldn't ask for more

Lovely spacious property in rural location but ideal for trips to Killarney National Park, Ring of Kerry and Dingle. Killorgin 6min away shops, pubs restaurants and take away. Really enjoyed!

Beautiful house in rural Kerry
This is a beautiful four bedroom house in rural Kerry just outside Killgorglin. We had expected it to be in Beaufort village but it is about 5km to the west. The pictures show the house as it is and there was nothing to fault with the house at all. The owners met us at the local pub and guided us to the property and explained everything we need to know. Great TV and Wifi. Great location for touring Kerry and Cork. Try Quinlans and Bianconi in Killgorglin for dinner - great alternative to the chaos in Killarney. If you are a golfer - Beaufort Golf Club is a hidden gem.

Wonderful family visit
Beautiful views at house and we enjoyed our stay. You do need a rental car when staying here. Restaurants/pubs in Beaufort only serve food on weekends during first two weeks in May. Lots of room in house for family. Killarney around twenty minutes away with plenty of pubs, restaurants and groceries.

A slice of Irish country life.
We stayed here from 8/12 - 8/16/18. This house is a lovely, spacious, elegant and well-maintained house. The Kellihers were gracious and helpful. The house is in a rural area, 20 minutes out of Killarney, which was part of its charm. It felt like we were actually living in Ireland, rather than in the busy downtown area. My two sons and I stayed here, but the house could easily have accommodated more people. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the Kellihers for a truly unique and memorable experience.

Beautiful house and surroundings
Had a fantastic week staying here ..Edward and his wife are very homely and accomadating people was lovely to meet them. For me the house was all we needed and more .. close to kiliorglin and not to far from kilarney town .we will be back next year .. loved it

Second time at this house in Killarney
We stayed again at this house for a second year running -see previous review from August 2017 and again we loved it. Lots of room inside and out and everything there you would need for a great family holiday. Killarney itself is about 15 minutes drive away and is a beautiful place to visit. In the other direction Dingle and Inch strand are a must to visit and closer by, the beach at Rossbeigh is not to be missed! We had fabulous weather this year visiting during the heatwave. Edward the host and his wife were there to greet us and communication with him was very good too. Thanks Edward we hope to return again!

Lovely home in quiet peaceful location just 10km from Killarney.
This was a great home in a very quiet, peaceful location close to Killarney. The house is bright with everything you need for a large or small group. The yard was huge and enclosed which allowed the children to run around and burn off energy. After a hectic day of sightseeing it was really nice to come back to this place. I would definitely recommend this home and will be returning. Great bargain for such a lovely place.

Comfortable, spacious, well appointed with everything you need for a holiday.
Our tenth visit to the area and this property certainly did not disappoint, one of, if not the best we have stayed in. We were made very welcome by Edward, who was an endearing, generous and engaging host. Lovely quiet rural location, which was good. Varied and interesting bird life, with birdsong, sheep, lambs and cattle as a gentle background chorus, making everything most relaxing. Everyone we met was very friendly, helpful and interesting, including those we casually spoke with about fishing in the local tributary of the river Laune. With easy access to Killarney and Killorglin - the salmon smokery in Killorglin has some of the finest smoked salmon, from the local river Laune. Would we go back? Most definitely.

Spacious new 4 bedroom house
Often when properties say "sleeps 8", it's only if half are sleeping on the sofa. Not so here - 4 large bedrooms, 2 en-suite and 2 sharing a bathroom, mean it will comfortably house 4 couples. With 2 living rooms as well as kitchen/dining, we found that our 2 couples used only half the house. We were a little nervous because the price was so cheap, but apart from a slightly remote location (which wasn't a problem at all for us), it has everything - including a washing machine and plenty of space to dry wet clothes, if needed. The furnishings are slightly Spartan (my wife said "it's furnished by a man"), but very comfortable. And all the appliances and plumbing worked well. Two televisions (to go with the 2 living rooms), but we had no need of them. As for the location - it's 10 minutes to either Beaufort, with a couple of good pubs, or Killorglin, with decent shops (we did all our food shopping at the Eurospar there) and more eating options. Killarney is 20 minutes, but we never felt the need to visit. You obviously need a car, but unless you want to be within walking distance of shops/pubs/entertainment, I highly recommend this place.

An Excellent House
We stayed for a week at Edward's fine house and found it to be everything we needed. Tons of room for large families and absolutely palacial for just the two of us! Superb throughout with all the facilities you could want. The kitchen was also great for us as we always do a fair bit of cooking while we are away. Very well tended gardens, would be super for kids running around. The area is very quiet with little traffic, just what we needed for a weeks break. Killorglin is just down the road for most essentials with Killarney 20 minutes away. We found so much to do you would really want a fortnight here to see everything. Edward was very helpful with local knowledge and a real gent to boot as well. We would highly recommend this house to anyone interested in coming to this area.

Great house in a beautiful area!
We spent a week here in August and it's a great base for touring round from Killarney to Dingle you won't be lost for places to visit! The house is in a nice quiet rural area,it is clean and well equipped for a family with comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms and plenty of space inside and out for a family. Edward and his wife are the owners, they are very friendly and communication before we arrived was good also. All in all we had a great weeks holiday there!

Modern spacious home in country setting
This property provides all the modern conveniences you could want along with a quiet country feel! The gardens are spectacular. The property is close to great restaurants/pubs as well as Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic place to explore the Ring of kerry
We stayed for a week as a family of 5 as I was cycling the Ring of Kerry. It's about 15/20 mins drive to Killarney and less to Killorglin. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious and well kitted out with everything you might need, The kitchen in particular is well stocked with utencils. The Beaufort Inn down the road (5 mins drive) has great food. It's lovely and quiet, with only a few sheep around. The property owner was very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to family and friends. In fact, the next time we are in town we will be staying here!

Great house, location and WiFi ;-)
We stayed at the house for a week at the end of April 2016 with five people, so we had lots of room. The house is beautiful, and so are the surroundings. It has everything you want it to have, including super fast WiFi (important these days! ;-) The owners are friendly and helpful. Can recommend to anyone. Would love to return some day!

Sehr geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes Haus in traumhafter Lage, nur Schafe als Nachbarn... Haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt; thank you Bridgett & Eddie.... Das Haus ist allerdings mehrere Kilometer von den nächsten Läden, Pubs etc. entfernt; ein Auto ist de facto zwingend notwendig.

Tolles großes Haus mit super Garten
The House is very spaceful and the garden is great. Specially for the children. We found all what we need and we enjoyed the two weeks very much. There are enough towels for everybody and you have the possibilty to wash them in the house. The owners are very nice and helpful!

Wonderful stay
The house is in a quite location 15 min from Killarney, and it is perfect to enjoy Kerry County and Ring of Kerry. During the week we visited Dingle, Limerick, Kinsale and Cork so you can stay here as a site to enjoy this part of Ireland. You should keep in mind that you need a car to move around because the house is not in a town but in the country. The house is well equipped and clean. It is very spacious inside and also has a big garden for kids if they like to play outside. The owners (Edward & wife) are very kind, helpful and specially nice people. The only negative thing is about the rubbish, they require to organize in a uncomfortable method for us. But this isn't a house problem, is the way people do it in Ireland. We're very pleased to stay there! We would like to stay again in the future!.
