Great culture - Friendly, approachable and helpful staff. Loved the amenities. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Dinner buffet also excellent, well stocked and excited.

Very clean staff is very professional and friendly great location walk friendly. Great to have breakfast included. Nice walk to a beautiful beach with a café bar and chairs with umbrellas.

Great pool, friendly staff, and nice gym. The location was perfect, 5-15 min away from anything you would like to do (by car). Breakfast was great, I would not recommend eating lunch or dinner though, over priced and lacks flavor, plenty of better options in the local area.

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at the Palácio de Tavira. A few days prior to our arrival we received a lovely message from the hotel asking if we had any special requirements, dietary requests, whether the visit was to celebrate a special occasion and if we needed help with getting to the hotel. We mentioned that we would be arriving earlier than the check in time and would like to drop off our bags if possible which the hotel said they could accommodate. What a pleasant surprise when we arrived that the hotel said that our room was available immediately. This gave us a bonus afternoon to get settled in, unpacked and explore the town. The housekeeping staff maintained the room immaculately with fresh towels provided every day, sometimes replacing them in the evenings too when they called in to turn down the bed. The tasty hotel breakfast includes fresh fruit, cereals, continental meats and cheeses plus a prepared selection from the menu such as omelettes, full English, smoked salmon bagels etc. It’s the staff that make this hotel so special though, from front desk to housekeeping they are all so friendly and eager to make your stay perfect. Our room was one of the Junior deluxe penthouse. The balcony’ was really only a tilt and turn window that looked through the balustrades that decorate the top of the hotel frontage but it satisfied our needs. Rooms on lower floors or in the newer part of the hotel possibly would suit you better if you like a Juliet style balcony.
