"The property was well set back from the highway and was quiet. I like the fact the the floors are pergo and not carpetted, they seem cleaner that way. The outside door near the back was a little finnicky, and frequently took 5 -10 tried to get it to unlock . I was surprized the was no kleenex box supplied. Summery, the room was clean and quiet. the bathroom was clean and the shower was hot and worked well. I slept well and felt refreshed."

"So many good things to say! The homeowners were lovely and helpful. The home was well maintained, clean and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially enjoyed the comfortable furniture/bed and all the extra touches that make this feel like home away from home. The view is amazing! We appreciated that it was pet friendly and our foster dog was welcome to come along with us. The secure yard was wonderful. The walking trail right out the back door was fantastic. Storage space was great with plenty of room for all of our stuff. Loved it!"

"Overall great stay, excellent communication, and everything needed in home for a great stay. Only feedback I have is that the driveway could be treacherous in snow and ice conditions. Not an issue in summer, but I didn’t see this mentioned in the listing."

"If you plan to set up a base camp for climbing and hiking inside the Smith Rock area, this is THE place. Idillic views out every window, deer in the front and back yard, the crooked rice and gorge 40yds out the back door. Every morning we packed up for climbing and walked right out the front door and into the park. Returning later in the day to A/C and ice cold beers. Food and supplies are an easy 10-20 min drive depending on where you want to head out too. RDM is an easy 25min drive from the front door as well. We’ll definitely be coming back!"

"Awesome hidden gem! Quite cozy and spent more time outside than inside. Really felt you were far away from it all and the canyon is much deeper and more beautifully dramatic than the pics show. Only critique is it needs WiFi. Cozying up on the couch or watching your fav show from the loft would be the cherry on top!"
